Pick stitching is a work of art only if done by the hands of a master. For jackets you want every stitch is be invisible, not machine punched as seen from most off the rack suits. As for pants, every stitch should look like little nubs of silk with slight variations, done all the way down from the waist to the cuffs along the outer seam by hand.

There seems to be only one mystery shifu in the country who could produce such remarkable handwork. I have never seen such pants worn in real life before though.

Not ordinary pick stitching but really good pick stitching serves an important function to the jacket, that is to keep the edges crisp and prevent them from rolling over. It also holds all the layers together neatly on a fully canvassed jacket like Jeremy's.

Ryan is cute. Don't you think so? I would harass him subtly during fitting sessions.

Added on January 22, 2011, 10:49 pmMBT made pretty decent buttonholes, I find it ridiculous for him not giving me working cuffs. Not enough balls I guess.

Added on January 22, 2011, 10:51 pmHis notch is SF-approved though.

The much coveted YKK EFLON® reverse coil zipper made strictly for the Japanese. Now I truly understand. Once shut, the fly shield stays completely flat and crisp. I will never go back to normal zippers again.

Double layer, but they're still thinner and more breathable than any chinos.

That's because they were chinos. Reasons you'd want them on suit pants:

1. Certain fabrics like mine are so porous that you needed it lined to prevent your sexy thongs from showing.
2. Avoid scratchy feel of wool against your skin.
3. Prevent fabric from sticking to skin as you move, improves fluidity.
4. Lining would absorb more of your sweat instead of the pants.
4. Eliminate the need of wearing undergarments.
