Until we get the new owners, the last thing we need is a change of manager. Don't forget that on the pitch Rafa represents for a lot of people. If he leaves, what would the players he brought in like Torres, Mascherano, Reina think (And I suspect that out of faith in Rafa that these players were persuaded to join us.)? More importantly, all the backroom staff were brought in by him - from the first team to the academy - what would they make of should he leaves? The instability in the boardroom level is chaotic enough already and it must not seep into the players or staff.

leaF, yes Aqua's transfer is paid by installments but so as most of the transfers. I'm sure Real Madrid didn't pay upfront all that 30m, regardless of how rich they are.

I could come out with a point to disagree with your every copied point but you are probably too ignorant to acknowledge it. The thing is, this is the man that is fighting for the supporters. He is the only one shoving two fingers in front of the owners and telling them to fook off. I disagree with a lot of his on-field tactics and signings, but given the backdrop he has to work in, I at least see the rational behind it. I am not going to be a two-faced punk and disrespect the man that is fighting for us.

I am impartial to him leaving. That said, I expect the 'best fans in the world' to at least treat the man with more respect, the baseless assumptions and pure vile filth that some of ours churn out against one of OUR OWN is disgraceful. He fought hard for us, he brought us some good times, he is one of us, the least we could do is to at least let him leave with our respect and his dignity in tact. Too much to ask from you? Football was alot more tolerant back then, you had time, support of the board and fans. RB's tenure came in a period of time where clubs wanted instant success. And to be really really honest, you and I both know it wasn't one flop season. RB has time, 6 years in today's game is alot of time. Mark Hughes didn't have time, RB did. He had money, the geezer spent well over 250m quids. So I don't see what the problem is other then the problem is RB.

Liverpool fans like to identify themselves as a big club, one of the big four. Tell me, which big 4 club aims for 4th place? Managers are trying to guarantee 1st place while RB guarantees 4th place, and missed it by a mile.

I'd like to see if Torres and co will stick around if they dont reclaim 4th place again this year. A player of his calibre isnt going to play in the Europa League.

This my friend, is called riding you luck. But to win the UCL, you do need luck. So I take nothing away from this win. This might sound contradictary, but yea, it is a fluke to me but I give the devil his due and give credit.
