burn in process just to make the driver much more relaxing and this will make a full potential of the headphone/earphone/iem to performed and pair with amp the sounding at their max level...

all i can say is that... i believe.

previously, i was skeptical. what changed me? my ex-ad700. when i first got it it sounded harsh, sharp and extremely sibilant... after 200 hours or so... it became a pair of fantastic cans. everything was right. it just lacks a bit of the "fun" factor.

mwahahaa

clip+ (80% volume) -> PA2V2 (2/3rd knob) -> W1 (60%) -> ATH W10VTG..
got enuff juice to bring the bass down deep and highs clean..
but i dunno.. it sounded clean without distortion, but the sound representation seems to hurt my ears.. coz of double amping?
im listening at my comfort volume.. which is about.. dunno.. 30% lower than what yuheng would listen to his ms1 at jaben?

The Ipod I've sold to him is probably going through modding process. Finally found a good owner who can hold it.

u should consider a desktop amp for yur vtg
if u still found it lacking in details and overall have low end boomy bass ...u should get a desktop amp to drive it
vtg will pair well with solid state amps which have forward mid signature...
pico will go well with it but major battery eater......
