Those heatspreader,  i wonder if any of u guys not going to use it.
Its so tempting to peel it off, considering many XS forumers already benefited from the reduce temp.

In WinXP I believe your system is under more load compared to BIOS. Also, software or onboard sensors aren't always accurate and is only best measured using a DMM

Btw, here's a sneak peak for you fellas! Only preliminary results without any stability testing yet.

260FSB 1:1 at 3.5Vdimm. This is the exact same pair I used when I was using my LPB NF2 and wouldn't even prime stable at 230FSB

For CBBID, not kacang puteh to reach 250HTT, mine need to pump vcore as early as 240HTT. (x9 multiplier)

yeah...1:1 is every ocers dream..
TCCD might do it, but it might not beat the tight timing even though its running at 300htt, this is due to loose timing on TCCD's..ive read somewhere on XS comparisons between the OCZ VX at 260htt 2-2-2-6 beats the TCCD 300htt running at loose timing..
but as always TCCD is good for 24/7 systems becos of lower vdimm..

Stable so far after Prime 3 hours and still going while taking this screenshot. Highest load temp is 54C in non-air con room during nighttime. Prime is done at night.

However, i notice an trend with stock hsf, once temp >56C prime will produce error. I dun have good heatsink to push it higher.

Borrowed this cpu from my fren. Since he not into overclock, basically running default 1.8Ghz only, pretty wasted. So i borrow it and try clock. Who knows can push all da way to 2.6g and still prime stable.

Unfortunately he duwan sell to me.
