still having problem in my froyo for apps. almost all not working properly. gonna try it for 3rd time again....now back to my CM.
maybe something wrong with the steps....
do u all wipe SD ext b4 install??
and wipe to factory reset??

in my manage applications, all the apps show "computing..."
never finish computing...
look like it cannot get data for all apps.

tried 4th times. still cant work.
this time cant even install any apps....
usb not detecting, didnt appear on notification bar....

read so many forum, some can work some cannot...

nandroid back to my CM5.06....... again....
if got time will try again....

ok...here is how i do.
-nandroid backup
-wipe reset/ factory reset
-wipe cache
-wipe div cache
-wipe ext sd
-wipe battery
-wipe rotate
-flash paul froyo

- run adb command
adb remount
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2

that all rite?? anything step i miss??

how u format sd?? not option to format sd in recovery mode...
if format. all data like pic and songs will gone also rite??

so i believe im using the new radio file version 4.06.00.12.7.

is that the kernel problem or radio problem??
thinking maybe flash back the old radio will solve the video record problem..

i flash back to CM, flash back old radio, and flash 2.6.33.4 kernel.

finally get my eclair 2.1 working again....on CM5.0.7.1.
will continue use this until froyo AOSP out.

the mflops is 41??
that is crazy fast. saw it online, but tot it is fake....

that is like 7x faster than CM. sound cooll....
my CM only 7.1.

waiting for CM version of froyo to coma out.

thinking of uninstall it and push the new launcher.apk in, but not sure how to uninstall.

just flash it back to 2.1 using recovery.
there is one problem la, cos froyo update the radio also,
so when u change back to 2.1 u may face some problem on video record, youtube play, video play.
therefore u need to flash back yr radio to old version as well.

for my case i updated to froyo, after few day i decided to flash back to CM5.0.7.
because the radio issue, i cannot play youtube video, cannot watch video, cannot record video.
spent few days reading and google-ing around, found out the radio for froyo not match with CM.
flash back old radio, all work fine.

waiting for official froyo to release,
or maybe official CM version of froyo, then only i will update.

apple is the best in poison their user. Apple user will just say "wow" for anything apple come out.
example: ability to create folder in iphone, multitasking, front camera.
all this small small little things also apple user feel so "wow"...
in fact, nokia did all that almost 10 years ago in symbian.(no one said "wow").
