one of the changes is a security fix that fixes the root exploit. So if u previously did a root using universal androot, you will get your root privileges revoked. do NOT update if you rooted with this method.

for those who are on 2.2 and want to prevent the "nagging" of the OTA (it'll still nag you once when you reboot your phone) and dont want to get your root privileges taken away from androot, you can disable the notification this way:

$ adb shell
$ su
# mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
# cd /etc/security/
# mv otacerts.zip otacerts.zip.bak
# exit
