Added on March 20, 2012, 11:46 pmHOLY SMOKE!!! Mini heart attack Cleaning my 60's Zhuni Ge Zhui pot after use and lid slipped off. Fortunately sitting on floor, bounced few times before managed to catch it. Surface wise looks fine, i hope no micro level crack Still damn scary thinking about it now, hope something like this wont happen again. Btw, Zhuni can really bounce... And the sound of it, pure music This post has been edited by KittyKat: Mar 20 2012, 11:46 PM |

But sigh... M8 is not suitable for my use, M9 is way above my league (for now |

Yeah, but those Mmm's are just too addictive
Too bad i have been buying pots recently, budget too quickly depleted. Eyeing on some nice cooked PuErh as well but they cost a bomb, sigh... Added on March 23, 2012, 10:59 amAnd oh yeah, when i say SLR, i meant DSLR. Films are good, of course!!! This post has been edited by KittyKat: Mar 23 2012, 10:59 AM |

Hahaha... Yes a good pot can significantly bring out the best from a tea, but the tea quality plays an important role as well. Remember the teapot can only "help", flavor, character, etc is all up to the tea. Btw, pot are prone to breakage, thus a risky investment IMHO
Me and tea art? Always no affinity, always at the wrong price and most of the times good ones being sold off. But i am happy with what i manage to yield so far, taking things slow but slowly shifting up the gears now (the headache part cuz spend too much) |

These are "shao hsing" (sorry if i did not get the term correct, i cant do chinese) kettles, more often treated as utilitarian ware. Rarer matching and good condition ones dates early ROC period while common are recently made one
