Your first Zini pot clay looks great... Should be very suitable for raw/old Puerh

Kitty, I used it for raw pu er when I started but now it's for oolong. For brewing raw pu er I use a duan ni pot. Will post up the pictures soon.

Zini for Oolong? You'll loose alot of details of tea. Same goes to Duanni for raw Puerh. It's very personal though, thus you can mind me

eagle nesting in my pot. When I have time I will post a pictures of comparison of how to tell whether a Zhu Ni pot is genuine. It might or might not be accurate as I learn this from an tea drinker as well.

Added on December 27, 2011, 10:07 pmOh yes, please translate what is written on the bottom of the pot and also on the wall of the lid. Thanks in advance.

Fuyooo... The lid wall tinggi giler, extra prevention from "slip-and-fall" and drips...

Hey guys, need opinion on this shou pu erh. It's not expensive and I bought a piece each to try and would like to buy more but also looking into investing in it. Just thinking of buying a tong.
This is a na nuo chi tsi bing year 2007. Soup colour is bright yellowish with little astringency.

Added on January 5, 2012, 3:35 pmThis is another one. According to my wife it's called Meng He. Lol. Not Menghai tea. Search online but no tea company with this name.Maybe have to search in chinese. It's 2006 from what I gather from the wrapper. This has a bit more astringency than earlier piece buy the it has alot of buds which in my opinion is very cheap for the price and looking at the year quite unbelievable.

Both have sweet aftertaste and the later is not as compactly pressed as the earlier one. Yes, I need opinion on these 2 pieces if you have come across anything like this. Thanks.

Hahaha... No sweat ArNg. If you like the taste, no harm keeping few more. Since you bought one cake each already, keep testing for few times and ask yourself if really like it. Bitterness is still OK, just make sure no weird taste

ICE? I only have a very basic minidisc setup.

my tea stuff didn't increase at all except japanese green tea.  I don't spend much on pot anymore as i don't have any more type of tea to drink it with.
Haha it does look cool biggrin.gif
