QUOTE(kimhoong @ May 6 2010, 09:09 PM) Spurs' playing in ECL - this reminds me the little squirrel Though our team just wiped out the feel good/proud factor with a string of...rubbish and lazy performance. This will be up to discussion at the end of this season. If Spurs pip us to the 3rd spot..god knows what I will do Well, full credits to them for finally reaching the Top 4, no doubt. For them to perform extremely well in the 2nd half, it is much better than us, Arsenal to perform exactly the opposite |

QUOTE(kimhoong @ May 10 2010, 05:56 AM) Appreciation - something that is lacking in Arsenal fanbase. And they deserved some stick for the cheap losses and draws..all candy will spoil the tooth I just can't stress enough that Arsenal deserves appreciations and credits to reach 3rd spot (and was once a challenger to Chelsea & MU in the later stage of the season). Yes, we blew it in the end of the the season with some cheap losses and draws - but it's much much better than what was anticipated by the so-called professional sport prediction that Arsenal would not reach Top 4 due to stronger ManC, Spurs, Liverpool, etc... |

QUOTE(kimhoong @ May 10 2010, 06:39 AM) Thinking of that, do you think it would be better that Arsenal lost and drew the matches in the beginning of the season and got itself on the second half of the table - then rose back by winning non-stop to reach 3rd spot. I think the reaction would be much better Well I guess that would feel better in some sense Yeah... this is just an assumption QUOTE(ProbMan @ May 10 2010, 06:39 AM) Next year, will gonna be the same prediction again. I hope that time we are not just silence them with reaching Top 4 but also wins it. Because we really do have a bunch of un-appreciative fan base that can only be satisfied with silverware. I don't know if they are still around jumping onto Arsenal bandwagon. Usually it does, at early stage of the season when we shine most. Hope we can do it all the way till the end. Well silverware is considered to be the defining factor of a club to be honest..no one really remembers the runner up/3rd etc etc but the champions (unless the runner up/3rd etc etc is the club we support).Plus if we didn't win trophies and achieve some success,we will not create history.Arsenal is good off the field(good business model, though can exploit more abit eg Asia Tour, pls come to Malaysia Arsene Who cares about the predictions anyway? Its better to believe in the team rather than the pundits in their comfy chair. And I desperately hope we will win it.That would be like showing the middle fingers to all doubters |

QUOTE(kimhoong @ May 10 2010, 09:18 AM) Well, no fans like to see the team he/she supports ending a season empty handed. But there are something more than that. And we have to face the reality. I agree.I hate it when we win nothing as I am a bad loser.I support Arsenal because I fell in love with them ... and we have to ask ourselves, "Is winning trophy the only reason you support Arsenal? Everyone has his/her choice - jumping ship is always easy - but it's not something I will do because I still have a strong belief and faith on AW and Arsenal. Anyway here is the MOTD highlights RS / hotfile or if you guys want to see some other MOTD see this site and dl yourself.. sos Time to sleep..2.30am liao here |

QUOTE(toshio14 @ May 18 2010, 08:32 PM) 40 million pound is small changes for player of Cesc calibre. if those f*ckers did want to go for Cesc this coming season, let's take them to cleaners. i'd say at least 60 million GBP before i even considering negotiating a deal with them 60 million too little...100 million better |
