Spurs' playing in ECL - this reminds me the little squirrel laugh.gif

Well, full credits to them for finally reaching the Top 4, no doubt. For them to perform extremely well in the 2nd half, it is much better than us, Arsenal to perform exactly the opposite doh.gif - but like Spurs, we are getting 3th spot (IF things go well) and we also deserve the credits wink.gif
*
Though our team just wiped out the feel good/proud factor with a string of...rubbish and lazy performance. This will be up to discussion at the end of this season. If Spurs pip us to the 3rd spot..god knows what I will do biggrin.gif

At least we won at the final game of the season although the Fulham side that played..i barely knew any of them biggrin.gif A win is a win nevertheless. The only thing I could complain was when it comes to the lap of appreciation part..the stadium loads of people cabut liao..or 5 minutes before the end sweat.gif The stadium was also filled with empty seats sweat.gif

Anyway..its time to look forward for next season..hopefully,it will be our season then..ARSENAL!!

Appreciation - something that is lacking in Arsenal fanbase.

I just can't stress enough that Arsenal deserves appreciations and credits to reach 3rd spot (and was once a challenger to Chelsea & MU in the later stage of the season).

Yes, we blew it in the end of the the season with some cheap losses and draws - but it's much much better than what was anticipated by the so-called professional sport prediction that Arsenal would not reach Top 4 due to stronger ManC, Spurs, Liverpool, etc...
*
And they deserved some stick for the cheap losses and draws..all candy will spoil the tooth biggrin.gifI do appreciate their effort (though they made me mad for the past few matches tongue.gif ) I seriously hope that we will be strengthened and mount a real title challenge next season:D I really don't like the idea of going season no.6 trophyless tongue.gif

QUOTE(kimhoong @ May 10 2010, 06:39 AM)
Thinking of that, do you think it would be better that Arsenal lost and drew the matches in the beginning of the season and got itself on the second half of the table - then rose back by winning non-stop to reach 3rd spot. I think the reaction would be much better biggrin.gif

Yeah... this is just an assumption tongue.gif
*
Well I guess that would feel better in some sense biggrin.gif Lets all hope that Arsenal will be the winners next season..not just run fast like Usain Bolt at 1st then tire down.. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ProbMan @ May 10 2010, 06:39 AM)
Next year, will gonna be the same prediction again. I hope that time we are not just silence them with reaching Top 4 but also wins it. Because we really do have a bunch of un-appreciative fan base that can only be satisfied with silverware. I don't know if they are still around jumping onto Arsenal bandwagon. Usually it does, at early stage of the season when we shine most. Hope we can do it all the way till the end.
*
Well silverware is considered to be the defining factor of a club to be honest..no one really remembers the runner up/3rd etc etc but the champions (unless the runner up/3rd etc etc is the club we support).Plus if we didn't win trophies and achieve some success,we will not create history.Arsenal is good off the field(good business model, though can exploit more abit eg Asia Tour, pls come to Malaysia Arsene tongue.gif ) and we need a good on field result to match that..

Who cares about the predictions anyway? Its better to believe in the team rather than the pundits in their comfy chair. And I desperately hope we will win it.That would be like showing the middle fingers to all doubters biggrin.gif Hopefully we will win as many as possible (a personal wish of mine,as I hate losing alot and being greedy for Arsenal winning trophies biggrin.gif )

Well, no fans like to see the team he/she supports ending a season empty handed. But there are something more than that. And we have to face the reality.

... and we have to ask ourselves, "Is winning trophy the only reason you support Arsenal?

Everyone has his/her choice - jumping ship is always easy - but it's not something I will do because I still have a strong belief and faith on AW and Arsenal.
*
I agree.I hate it when we win nothing as I am a bad loser.I support Arsenal because I fell in love with them biggrin.gif And the only team I would like to see winning things is Arsenal tongue.gif As for AW, I still believe in him,but I cannot help to start having doubts of him.I am surely lying if I say I totally have no doubt of this current side.So I really hoped AW and the lads will clear me of my doubt.

Anyway here is the MOTD highlights
RS / hotfile

40 million pound is small changes for player of Cesc calibre. if those f*ckers did want to go for Cesc this coming season, let's take them to cleaners. i'd say at least 60 million GBP before i even considering negotiating a deal with them
*
60 million too little...100 million better biggrin.gif
