Steam is movable , you can easily move from one PC to another and it would work assuming . If it sees that its not being installed .It will perform the installation for you. So you dont have to worry about that , I've tried copying and pasting steamapps to another PC and it works. It will automatically reconfigure for that new PC

If the game supports steam cloud then all the saved data , config , keybindings will be copied as well

Forgot to add , only tested with Mirrors Edge , Torchlight and Source based games. Not sure about those who use activation like DoW II and the rest

Those who are having issues , get Hotspot Shield (google for it) , install it and use it

Its a free US VPN , when you connect steam it will update from US server instead of SEA. By default steam checks your ip and tries to download its update from the nearest server which fails most of the time as the server is overcrowded !

Unwillingly used once , to purchase something. I did not notice , i use adblock to block off the ads. So far no problem , if you're really paranoid then you should use a secure line or something. I did not realize , so far no any side effects. Anyway if the payments sites are HTTPS , there is no way for them to know whats the data inside , its encrypted nevertheless

Can't connect to steam ? Cant update - get hotspot VPN . Our malaysian servers are overcrowded , so basically the downloads are so slow. The only way you can get faster update speeds is by fooling the system that you're in the US , so that when you connect to steam it will download from a US server which is 15-20x faster then downloading from our local server

Failout 3 crashes , face it. Its normal ,I bought the retail version , it crashes. The game is bugged up beyond all repairs already. One way to fix is just to save every now and then and bear with the crashes

GTA IV requires a good spec. If you're on a laptop most likely you'll be having some issues (if its not up to standard , or you may have to reduce the settings)

Worth it for good SP storyline ,if you're buying this for MP then its not a good choice. Seriously , buy this for SP and not MP !

Region lock means that steam only allows this game to be sold in US or certain region as per request by developer (rockstar) due to copyright issues and stuff

I've owned both GTA IV and LCS. The thing is that you need to know and organise a group to play. If you play with random people , its bloody boring. For once in a while fun its good. Just buy it for SP story , that keeps you entertained for hours and hours. If you're just bored and just wanna play something fun , try MP

If you want MP fun and a game to last forever , try Team Fortress 2. From 2007 up to today , heh a lot of updates , patches and players. Its still one of the good games. If you wanna have fun , just get it. (If you wanna meet people and play online). If you like good storyline and want to explore liberty city , GTA IV is for you

Ask yourself

Some people just buy as collection. Around 80% of my friends do play TF2 on a regularr basics , some of them dont play at all. They just played it once and find it its not their genre at all

Ask yourself that question , if its not the thing that you'll enjoy wait for even more discount , else just get it at this price - cause its worth every cent. Its not like some impluse game that you'll buy. You may play it for like 10 minutes , find it that it sucks and it just stays there in your game collection (hint hint : Shattered Horizon is a good example)

Here are few tips lah , GTA IV is worth it if you've been following gta series or if you want to have freedom in doing missions. Most of the missions in GTA IV can be done according to your style plus you can make decisions in certain mission (i.e working for x and not y and killing that person or not)

SF IV is worth it if you're into fighting and just wanna kick some butt. Not my kind of genre

TF2 is worth it if you want cool FPS without the seriousness , its because the game is not meant to be played as serious. You can have fun while playing TF2 , unlike CSS. Even when I enter a CSS server , bam boom i get killed a thousand times and then I get kicked for no reason.

The thing is that ask yourself if you like it or not and if the majority of the folks do play , if so get the game. Its because impulse buying sucks sometimes. You may buy it cause its cheap , you may play for 5 minutes and find that it sucks and it just stays there.

TF2 is worth it

GTA IV is not wroth it unless you're a fan of GTA series. Seriously , TF2 is more worth it if you're looking for MP adn wanna play with malaysians and singaporeans

Worst I've heard is that they may block your steam account entirely , which requires you to contact steam support

Yes , at that price its worth it. You should play I hate mountains campaign , its for L4D1 only. There are few exclusive L4D1 maps only. The maps in l4d 1 are good such as dead air , you cant find em in l4d2 !

MW2 uses steam cloud , even TF2. Basically if its in the cloud , steam will sync to the server after playing each time so that the server keeps up to date copy of it.
