I originally contemplated on installing Retail ME2 as well. But seeing the low support from steam for retail copies. I felt that I should just wait for Steam sale.

Nope, no GFWL in BP.

Burnout uses EA Account, it's less intrusive compared to GFWL.

oh, i swear i always get prompted to log into some account which i usually dont. i guess thats EA. do i have to make an ea account for that? only played sp mode with friend's retail copy. like 40% done i think

From what I know. You can't challenge Crash and Time Trial records for streets and MP is not available in SP mode. Otherwise about 95% of the game is unlockable with SP alone.

i suppose to go online i'll have to create an EA account. what i do know is SP cars that've been unlocked carries over to MP.

i wanna know if i just copy paste the files that my friend has already installed, into my lappy, and a new Burnout folder which I'd create under steamapps will work or not.....and my save, settings etc. files... dw he doesnt play it, so it's practically mine.

Probably not. Steam has their own filestructure iinm.

Save files however, you can try copy pasting it into your my documents, as EA saves are usually there. No guarantees though, as my Overlord saves didn't work out that way.
