buy Lass Diarra from Chelski (waste money to get an arrogant and impatience guy)
others are decent transfer deal from AW

QUOTE(OurHeroes @ Apr 11 2010, 07:35 PM) Newcastle United biggest flop : u forget Barton, Butt, Geremi, Bramble, Boumsong, Carr, Dabizas, Marcelino, Ketsbia and the fukken list can go on..Michael Owen - 17m for nothing. - always injured. - always invisible at front. - 2 days after NUFC relegated..he helicoptered his family out of Newcastle. - big wasted! Xisco - i have no idea why we pay 5.7m for this man?? Leon Best - never score goals even he got lot of chances. - his name not representing his ability. - thx god 1m for this man and still warming bench. Newcastle best transfers. Jonas Gutierrez - bargain buy - speed-demon - 1 of the main engine this season - special celebration....spiderman mask Wayne Routledge - winger ace - 1m transfer fee is worth for it - fast, tricky, ability to shot Mike Williamson - another good transfer. - tall and good at air. other lads want to add some??? oh and selling Ginola, Sir Les, Asprilla, Jenas, Milner, Bassong, Dyer, N'Zogbia are not good transfer deals too. Though Dyer seems to be farked up now, but during the time NU sold him, he's still good. Remember the cool composure outside the box goal against Arsenal? Hate the chairmans, not the managers. Buying players without the manager's consent is totally not a good way to run a club. |

i wont go far back since there's quite many signing flops in inter
quaresma to inter for 19 million euros might as well add muntari in there you go 35 million euros down the drain in 1 transfer window. and i think that's why they need to sell ibra the next year. 49m + eto'o. great deal there |

Another testament to why Shay Given was one of the most underrated keepers in the league at the moment; playing behind both Bramble and Boumsong at the same time. oh and selling Ginola, Sir Les, Asprilla, Jenas, Milner, Bassong, Dyer, N'Zogbia are not good transfer deals too. He didn't have blinding pace but he had really good feet. Too bad he never had the opportunity to shine on the world stage, after the gave the ball away against Bulgaria, resulting in a goal and ultimately France crashing out of the World Cup qualifiers. One of my favourite wingers ever. |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Apr 17 2010, 12:41 PM) Another testament to why Shay Given was one of the most underrated keepers in the league at the moment; playing behind both Bramble and Boumsong at the same time. Yes undoubtedly Given is among the best keeper in BPL but it's not a transfer that we all entirely regret. As for me, I'm quite happy for him after a decade at NU with no silverware and with his skill of goalkeeping he deserves one trophy. Certainly MC have a better chance to give him that. We'll never know. Can't say I followed too many Newcastle games but I thought Ketsbia was pretty decent. Ginola was pure genius. He didn't have blinding pace but he had really good feet. Too bad he never had the opportunity to shine on the world stage, after the gave the ball away against Bulgaria, resulting in a goal and ultimately France crashing out of the World Cup qualifiers. One of my favourite wingers ever. Whoops how did I put Temuri Ketsbaia on the bad list. He's a legend. His goal celebrations are priceless. As for Ginola, there are words flying around UK that he's more English than French |

I'm a Liverpool loyalist..
My most regret Liverpool's transfer would be.. 10. Signing Alberto Aquilani for 20m? What a waste of money 9. Signing Robbie Keane for 20m and sell him back for just 8m? To make it worst, the only better striker we have is Torres.. Robbie Keane is not the greatest but I don't think we should sell him, at least until we got another top class striker.. 8. Signing El-Hadji Diouf.. He's actually technically gifted but has very-very bad attitude.. 7. Signing Karl-Heinze Riedle.. GH sign him simply because he scored a goal for Dortmund when they defeated Juventus in a CL final.. During that time, we already has Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen.. If we need to sign another striker, that should be Gabriel Batistuta or the "fat" Ronaldo! 6. Not signing Michael Owen on a free after he quit from Newcastle.. He might be not as fast as before but when he is fully fit, he is as deadly as Torres. Having Owen in bench is a lot better than Ngog.. 5. Not promoting Martin Kelly and Jay Spearing.. Both are promising local talents.. 4. Selling John Arne Riise.. I know JAR takes heart on his own goal against Chelsea, but put that aside, he's a very-very good attacking left back.. I rate him higher than Patrice Evra and Ashley Cole.. 3. Signing Lucas Leiva.. What on earth signing a fake Brazilian! 2. Selling Xabi Alonso.. That's one very very bad decision.. 1. Selling Liverpool FC to the yanks.. Look at what happen now? we're in deep shit!! This post has been edited by fenzodahl512: Apr 17 2010, 03:07 PM |

QUOTE(RyanHo @ Apr 17 2010, 03:08 PM) He was sold to fund cash to buy Torres...if the yanks did inject us more cash to get Torres, we don't need to sell him.Damn Yanks Regrets of the timing of selling Baros, he was pretty hot after Euro cause he was the top scorer... But after that price depreciate and we sold him for cheap. Same goes for Djibril Cisse, Owen and Riise. Alonso and Arbeloa did have a choice to stay with us, but they opt to join the Galacticos...possibly due to personal reasons, high taxes in england, and homesick. Biggest regret was not make a move to sign David Villa when he was still in Zaragoza...Rafa enquired for his price, which he was valued at ~17-20M at that time...but too bad Liverpool's transfer kitty is just that much that season, so Rafa didn't dare to take the gamble. And to think we spend 17m for Keane...and even something near that for Dossena. Sebastian Leto case also made me feel sad...promising talent but couldn't manage to sort out work permit issues. I trained him into a world class winger in FM This post has been edited by kazuki85: Apr 17 2010, 04:02 PM |

Bridge to Chelsea (Got interested with playin fullback coz of him)
Walcott to Arsenal (He went to the World Cup Crouch to Liverpool (this one debatable, he wasn't much of a striker anyways but he scored against portsmouth Beattie to Everton (heard he got fat after he left, lol) Bale to Spurs (Wonderful free kicks) And all the other players who Southampton had to sell after they got relegated and failed financially. All of them brought good money but administration happened anyways. This post has been edited by FauxHawk: Apr 18 2010, 02:35 AM |
