i am there on friday to watch james bond on two JBL BIG speakers.. i am seriously amazed by it! That is my first time being heard the strongest home-theater in my life, for now.

Yup I went to that room also. They were playing Ip Man 2 at the time. The mid bass dynamics were excellent.

Hey htkaki, do you know if the JBLs were supported by SVS subs? I didn't see any subs but might be hidden behind the screen.

I was impressed too with the scene where IP Man vs Samo Hung.

I think the speaker is JBL Project Everest DD66000. (the most ambitious loudspeaker in the history of JBL).

I'm glad you like our JBL Project Everest demo. Many people have commented positively to me regarding our Project Array demo as well.

For those of you looking for good bargains on AV Receivers, we (Flagship AV - Starhill 7, 4th Floor) will be having some extremely good deals on the current Harman Kardon AVRs today. This offer is for one day only, it took a lot of negotiation to allow me so sell at this price. (So low, I can't put it in this forum!)

Please note that, unlike others shop's offer of last year's models, all the models we are offering is the newly launched HK AVR x60 range (yes, it is HDMI 1.4 compliant!).

Hope to see you guys there!

Was it just me or was there no 3DTV from Panny? I remember their bigger displays, but I just cannot remember seeing their VT series plasma.

The other 3DTVs from Sony and Sammy while good, had way to much crosstalk whenever the head moved a little, in my opinion.

I liked the JVC HD35 with the anamorphic lenses, pretty bright and well calibrated.

The Panny AE4000 was ok but badly calibrated. The Vivitek PJs were not too bad nor the Optomas.

the panny 3D plasma was there right across the entrance and i think it's more impressive than the sonys and sammys but i can't see what model series cause it's too dark . i ask the panny showgirls and she dont know what model . i did check the back panel and the hdmi connector slots looks different from the V20

Ah well, I missed it then. I guess I'll just wait to calibrate one and find out.

The other 2 were just not good enuf for me with the amount of cross talk

3D spectacles were a plenty at Sony show area and there are 4 screens on 3D demo i.e. Worldcup / Football (with Shakira), 3D Game, Fish / Ocean & Scenery.
Next to Sony, Pana concentrated on large screen 85" (RM148,000) + 105" (??) and Full HD projectors; minimal on 3D (1 screen).
Shame to Sammy who only display multiple combined displays for commercial use (next to Saony & Pana.)

Our successful shopping list includes:
(1) 2 Units of ONKYO TX-SR608 (Best deal from the entire fair; cannot reveal to protect Vendor)
(2) 2 Pairs of EPOS ELS 303 Floorstanding speakers (Offered at RM920/pair)
(3) Couple of Bluray Discs selling at RM60 each.
(4) Sony Bluray player ( could not remember model)
(5) Couple of black albums which are rare to find nowdays.

FYI, we spent 6 hours at the fair and have not come across people smoking at the stairs (so minimal smoke smell also).
We do not see people queuing like cows at the lift but notice happy / anxious faces waiting in orderly manner.
Skip the HWM freebies of Ipod Speaker Dock + Mouse.

Favorite demo at the fair :
(No.1 Concert) David Foster follow by Celine Dion (Vegas Concert)
(No.1 Movie) Avatar and none noticeable at No.2
(No. 1 Vocal) Tsai Ching (saw only 2 Concerts)
