both ap and original is original nokia phone and accessories

original is made for malaysia.

ap made for other countries but imported in malaysia without tax, thats why some ap got weird languages or keypad.

the difference between them are the firmware with different language pack.(but u can flash malaysia's firmware into those ap phone)

so basically, it just the warranty, both ap and original may hv 1 year lcd warranty, but ap company usually cheapskate~ if theyr not they'll change to an original nokia lcd screen if u hv problems wit the lcd within the warranty. thts for lcd, but if ur phone got other unknown issue ap company usually will take longer time to repair ur phone.

Hey guys.. I just plugged my 5800 through usb to my laptop ( windows 7 x64) but it keeps saying driver installation failed, even when i put MASS STORAGE usb mode, then after that my whole phone was lagging.. How to solve the driver issue?

EDIT: Now its stuck at shutdown page.... v60 XpressUniverse really rawks =.=

Yes, its kept in Z:\data\patches or somewhere, just copy them and replace the ones in E:\ install Orange Tsunami seperately

Vodafone is the default HS you will get after you boot.. Theres no need for omnia, try setting to 'Basic' see whether got or not... If u want omnia, just download liliantugary (DM) orange tsunami with omnia icons, i'm using it now

sold my 5800 edi few weeks ago.. enjoying my htc desire now... but i surely miss my old 5800 speaker and sound quality

original beside cost extra rm100 the transportation to nokia centre also headache..loL

brother, you don't have to go to nokia HQ for warranty lar, you can go to the nokia shop and they can do the warranty for you, u just need to go to places like sunway pyramid or other shopping malls that have nokia care centre u can do it..RM 100 extra worth to buy ori..if RM > RM 200 then u can think about it. If u buy AP, u are also getting non-ori parts and some items may not be included in the set. Also, even though AP got warranty but their HQ usually quite troublesome to go. Believe me, I did claim from AP before so I know. RM 100 extra just pay man.

latest fw u can just install at home wif ur pc suite or ovi suite lor~
u dun nid to go to nokia centre to get an ori nokia phone la...
most phone shops oso selling both AP n ori, just make sure u noe how to differentiate...furthermore nokia centre selling at RRP...
