hmmm, so are we seeing an improvement software/hardware wise for the N900, really good news to hear as my next phone will be more on the gps chip...

U imagine how annoy i was. I have a gps phone that doesnt work in my car.

I tried my N97 and 5800XM on my other car got minimum tinted also same it delay 2 to 3 sec. After turn into turning only say please turn right i was like HUH?
Den i did some research on how to solve this problem and i found a solution by installing a special device inside the car and mount a special antenna outside the car to boost the signal. It will cost me RM300.

At first i was like crap i bet N900 is sure like tat too. Den i didnt know why i tried i was shock it was so accurate without a-gps. Den i was like is this for real den i turn off all my WIFI and 3G and yes it still accurate.

Nokia N900 its more like a tablet + phone when other nokia phones are smartphone

aspire... can we install gps garmin into n900??? ovi maps hevent got map for malaysia.so not worth to buying coz cannot navigate..

5minute-10minute.. sometimes 15minute,,sometimes 1minute already lock satelite... its not my concern if my phone lock satelite late..but it become problem ,when i start navigate... then gps did not show me the accurate location... unlike n958gb.although n958gb also sometimes recalculate my locaton.. but now too much like 5800...i disible a gps only use internal gps and network base.. same as my previous henset..
when start navigate.. 5800 alwayz recalculate..recalculate..bcoz poor signal..
like i already turn right..but gps show me that i a way to far behind..

Some ppl in linux find a way to make some software to read garmin map but havent seen anyone use it on Nokia N900 yet.

Ovi maps have map of malaysia. U can view but u cant navigate turn by turn only. Let repeat N900 main purpose is not for GPS. if gps suggest u get ASUS

NOkia n900 is design for internet browsing. Since i use my Nokia n900 browser it makes Opera mini, opera mobile , internal web browser become boring.

I reply this using nokia N900 now it loads website properly u can view properly even load flash within website. Like above the advertistment its moving in my nokia n900.

how about satio?:? is that phone is good choice to repplace 5800??
i love 5800 coz its good looking.got red reflect red line and solid build..

and for n97 is it really the gps in n97gps do not accurate like 5800 or even better then 5800?

Yes satio is anytime better than nokia 5800XM because its using the same processor and GPU as Nokia N900 except OS still same with 5800XM.
To me doesnt make much different because both also dont work in my car with V-cool.

Now garmin focusing more on phone + gps already

hi guys, it seems that i can't pass thru the jaf full pkey emulator by ogm development version 5, when i pressed go in step 3 i keep have this error : not supported windows version, by the way, i'm using windows 7 x86

Mine don't have. Though the vibration is slightly stronger as other ppl said but doesn't really a big issue for me.

I've been read through the Samsung Omnia HD and the gps chip inside a far more better then nokia, but come to firmware and software wise it make me turn away...
