Then how bout ur current setup at 3.0 my fsb is set at 334*9mhz... so that would make my ram on 668 with 1:1. I tried to set the ratio to 1:1.2 so that the ram speed will be at 800mhz, but everytime i do that, the pc won't boot at all.. Tho, i'm not really know how intel oc works |

they do have individual clock speeds, but the architecture itself of intel synchronizes both the dram and the fsb

i tried to set my bios DRAM option to option 2, then whoa, i can overclock pass 400mhz lol. Now currently at 450mhz but timing is 5-8-8-20 at 2.2V. Dont know stable or not, have to try out. Btw, the timing really affects alot on pc performance? I mean is it significant comparing a 5-5-5-15 with my 5-8-8-20?

cannot make it la, 450 at 5-5-5-15 sure come out BSOD one. Even 5-6-5-15 also BSOD. Now my current one also not stable, install crysis halfway hang up and now the OS also not very stable. Using orthos to stress it now. Or should i increase the voltage? 2.3V is normal?

I would rather have 800MHz@5-5-5-15 than 900MHz@5-8-8-20... Seriously, 5-8-8-20 is way too loose This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Mar 13 2008, 11:59 PM |

currently i am using 850mhz@ 5-6-5-15 2.1V. 6 hours of orthos still stable. I might run it for another 12 hours then i see the result.
