alll factory tuned rams which are 667Mhz can do 800Mhz. Only thing is how much Vdimm is needed for this bump. (too much tokyo drift)

E revision is just.... u know.. shit. smile.gif

Kind ah.. kind means u have to slowly pump the Vdimm and push it up la.. not jerk it immediately...

Might as well just get a non-Hynix since they can generally hit at least 800MHz under 2.0v, unless you can still get your hands on Rev. A or B laugh.gif

very true... but the rev A and B ppl wont be sellling their gems anyways, that leaves us to not even discussing the possibility of finding another revision which will do 1000Mhz easily.

With active cooling, 2.3v should be alright. But it's best to stay 2.2v and below for Value RAMs nod.gif

bata is doing the supertalent ram bulk for hp-y5, but i think too exp. rm85 for 1 piece.. If like rm70 1 piece i can accept.. maybe i just go comp shop and do some survey. Which revision is the best?
*
for rm85 a piece u can overclock the ram like me..
or if u look at xtremesystems forum, there are forumers that pushed the supertalent's fp-y5 to 1.4ghz @ 2.7v

theres no point doing an OC like 1400Mhz using 2.7V when the purpose is to use it everyday. And always remember, this voltages are only probably 1-2 hours thats it. Its suicide to run that even for 6 hours brows.gif

By the way on another note, i believe your Team Elites can do 1100Mhz on 2.3V. Done it before brows.gif Try it.

yup but the point is that the bata's supertalent fp-y5 that im currently using rite now is very good because the overclocking headroom is very high tho it sucks at cl4 overclocking... brows.gif
2.2v daily it's not a problem because supertalent uses brainpower pcbs icon_idea.gif

p/s my team elite can go far with 2.2v on dividers.. but i only care about 1:1 oc rclxms.gif

Loosen the tRCD timing and try again, FP-Y5 can go higher with tRCD at 5 or 6.

bro its not about the PCB that i am worried about, its the Chip itself. 2.1V is nothing, when u say ppl have done 2.7V, now thats something for me, at the moment i am running around 2.0V.
