Thanks for the advice smile.gif how do I hard reset?
So I click on update firmware again, and when it gets to the "install" phase, I take out the memory card?

Type *#7370# from the standby screen while your phone is on.
It will ask for the lock code which is 12345 unless you have previously changed it. Make sure you do this right, because if you do it too many times the wrong way you can lock up your phone.

after reset take out mcard.. and plug in ur cable ready for update.. no mcard throughout the update ok.. after update.. make sure ur mcard is also clean.. so back up wat u need to back up 1st..

It was never promise better battery life.. As u use ur e71.. Ur battery lifetime life shorten everyday.. So it is not very correct to judge it by saying so unless one is using a new original battery to test it.. jus my 2 cent..

there is no need for garmin 500.6 unless u r on touch screen.. 500.5 is stable d..
i cant update yet as my product code is still unavailable.. e71-3 is a bit susah sikit.. cannot simply change product code as it will screw up my keypad mapping

hi guys,

Is it still worth getting an E71 while E72 is already out there? I don't care much about 5mp camera + audio jack port on E72.
