Hey guys,
I can't update my Nokia E71! Currently it is version 300.21.012.

Everytime I try to update it says "Update failed" or "Phone is not connected" as OviSuite always automatically disconnects my phone and then reconnects it after the update fails.

Can anyone help? sad.gif

ur problem is can't detect ur phone right?

Well, it lets me check the firmware, then when I click update, it says "15 minutes remaining". Then it stops after like 1 minute and says "Internal" error, can't detect phone. sad.gif

Thanks for the advice smile.gif how do I hard reset?
So I click on update firmware again, and when it gets to the "install" phase, I take out the memory card?

Type *#7370# from the standby screen while your phone is on.
It will ask for the lock code which is 12345 unless you have previously changed it. Make sure you do this right, because if you do it too many times the wrong way you can lock up your phone.

after reset take out mcard.. and plug in ur cable ready for update.. no mcard throughout the update ok.. after update.. make sure ur mcard is also clean.. so back up wat u need to back up 1st..
