I was actually thinking about getting the taiyo cf1200, but then hear eheim got promotion, from your announcement in the previous post tongue.gif

Was really worried that 2213 not enough for my 2 ft, but then not enough budget for 2215. But some forumer in MAC mentioned that they are using 2213 for their 2ft with no complaints. Then I say 'What the heck, its eheim' drool.gif

Now its running and the flow is as strong as the cheap MIC internal pump that I use for my top filter... So thumbup.gif

I just came back from NA and the bosses are so friendly, they took time to explain to me how to set up the eheim canister filter, even drew an illustrated diagram for guidance and the boss gave me enough mechanical filter media for my filter for free. I mean he just said he had extra and gave me... shocking.gif

But he also tried poisoning me about getting a CO2 tank for my aquarium la... tongue.gif

But I haven't been to all 3, tongue.gif so this is just my opinion that NA is the best... thumbup.gif

By the way, how much for the tank and the cabinet??? I'm interested in this particular design where there is actually no corners cause its curved glass... I like it very much... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif Thinking of getting this if I upgrade to a 4 footer, which is gonna take me another 5 - 10 years... cry.gif Cause still studying... But really like this tank... drool.gif

Wah... Everyone got either JBL, ADA or eheim substrate... Except me... cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

All I got are cheap MIC ceramic rings... sad.gif

I saw a few tanks in NA with wooden frames in the corners and borders, it looks quite nice as the brown color of the wood gives contrast to the greens in a planted tank, something like a photo in a wooden frame... thumbup.gif

@michanz

so, if use glassware means cannot use skimmer la.. or is there a glassware sklimmer?
*
Lily pipe... it creates a vortex in the surface of the water sucking all the oil and stuff floating on the surface into the body of the water which will allow your filter to filter it out...

brows.gif ... I'm very free cause now on holiday back home in Klang... But left my tank back in Kuala terengganu... cry.gif
Got the eheim 2213 but can't hook it up cause my tank all the way in KT... cry.gif

@Michanz, how come your lily pipe picture so clear and close up one??? shocking.gif Got date some more??? The lily pipe from your tank is it??? brows.gif

Since we're on the topic of Co2, I got some questions icon_question.gif

1) We only require a manual regulator to operate a co2 tank is it?

2) How come the regulator in the picture got no gauge one? Do we need both high pressure and low pressure gauge?

3) Do some regulator come with needle valve?

I'm very confused about the regulator... I know about the bubble counter, the check valve, the co2 reactor, co2 diffuser but the manual regulator puzzles me... rclxub.gif

i'm quite intrested on the canister type eheim classis 2213, is it adequate for a 2 feet tank ? does it come with filtration materials ?
*
Adequate or not depends on your scape, thats what I found out after researched all the 2213 and 2215 users opinion, the filtration material that comes with the 2213 is only 5 blue coarse sponge, 1 fine wool sponge, 1 carbon sponge and thats all. You need to get your own biological filtration media like eheim substrate pro or ADA bio rio, depends on your preference

Is that Ehiem Classis 2213 having promotion now? How much?  drool.gif
*
All eheim classic having promotion now, 2213 is selling at RM199 and 2215 at RM299 while stock last

Wanna upgrade(or more like downgrade) to 'ADA' like seemless tank with nyato cabinet la. less absorbant to water.last a bit longer. brows.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on July 13, 2010, 10:32 amok another funny question... wud using inline diffuser with lily pipe cause any surface agitation makin it easier for Co2 to escape to atmosphere? or is it fine?
*
Inline diffuser don't create turbulent flow, its just a co2 diffuser build into the outlet tube of your canister filter
Lily pipe also don't create any turbulent flow, the vortex created doesn't actually agitate the water surface also

So I think since there is no turbulent flow, there should be no surface agitation and no co2 loss. Its just what I think la. Maybe those out there with a lily pipe and inline diffuser can give a more better answer... I'm just guessing... tongue.gif blush.gif
