Man, after a long, busy day at work... this thread is full of crap by the assistant manager from Milan. Absolutely ridiculous. Guess we need some comedy every now and then.
QUOTE(meaj @ Apr 14 2010, 05:31 PM) Actually I'm serious with that suggestion. But on 2nd thought, since most of us (yours truly included) are absolutely against the idea, Arsenal Street Talk may unofficially refuse to discuss that. Therefore, I would now suggest that they start a new thread discussing who should replace Arsene at Arsenal. Being off the main fan thread, fans of other clubs might also pop in to give their 2 cents. Should be a 'happening' thread. We did have some discussions some time ago waaaaayyyyy before the two jokers who seem to know better than Arsene came along. My suggestion was Marco van Basten due to his formation and tactics during Euro08 - even though Holland eventually lost to Russia, they beat France and Italy, both WC06 finalists, convincingly. The way he revitalised the Holland NT was similar to Arsene as well, given chances to uprising starlets. Having said that his tenure with Ajax wasn't as good as expected. It's harder to discuss which manager is suitable for a club compared to discussing players, as the manager is in full control of matter on and off the pitch, plus the added responsibility of dealing the with admin people. Our board seems to be happy with the excellent financial stability (which board wouldn't?) and they share the same long term vision as Arsene does. If Stanny or whoever takes over, things may change but someone with a sane mind will not allow any new manager to come in and leave us in deep shit like how Uncle Harry did to his old clubs. Damn freaking tired... gtg sleep now and wake up for NLD later. Luckily tmr no shift. |

QUOTE(SeanWong @ Apr 14 2010, 02:00 PM) Truth? sorry to butt in .. hwo abt toure and adebayorOnly Henry, Vieira, and A.Cole are consider having good career advancement after they left the club. How about others? Pires, Ljungberg, Edu, Gilberto, Lauren, Reyes, Senderos, Flamini, Hleb...and etc. the list continue... Those above mentioned players have they won any silverware with us before? Yes they indeed have. You just quote 1 example but totally forget the other side that how many of them struggle in other team when they left...and take note that they have WON SOMETHING WITH ARSENAL BEFORE, not that they all left with empty hands. this is the last time i reply to you coz i found it very childish to reply to your immature post. Why bother to post at Arsenal thread if you think Arsenal is no longer your love team as you think all other squad members now (as you mentioned above) are underperformance and didn't deserve to be even the bench for other "big clubs"? |

QUOTE(BuLLs10 @ Apr 14 2010, 07:45 PM) Anybody gonna stay awake to watch the match tonight? subang anyone? OK. I got a feedback from Kim Hoong.Btw, the T-shirt i can do it...please finalize the 1st 11. back 4 no prob. Almunia,sagna,clichy,TV,Gallas..what about da midfield and forward? RVP and Bentner or Eduardo? out of 1)Bendtner 2)Arshavin 3)Walcott 4)nasri 5)ebou 6)song take ebou out as most probably he is leaving arsenal....there we left 1 mroe to take out...kim hoong suggest taking out walcott will be the right choice, reasoning- although he is sometimes the game maker. But his impact is inconsistent and he didnt play as much as other 4. QUOTE 1)Manuel Almunia 2)Gaël Clichy 3)Bacary Sagna 4)Thomas Vermaelen 5)William Gallas 6)Alex Song 7)Cesc Fàbregas 8)Samir Nasri 9)Nicklas Bendtner 10)Andrei Arshavin 11)Robin van Persie this is as suggested by kim hoong....everyone ok? Guess we need some comedy every now and then. Heh I was trying to get the doom-n-gloom club to name their chosen manager to replace Arsene because obviously, in their eyes, it's all his faults. But if he walks away, a lot of clubs could really use his intelligence. Before you know it, he'll setup a diverse scouting network, starts up an admirable youth academy with a smart youth programme, brings a sound economic model to the club and at the same time maintains a formidable force that challenges for top footballing honours year in year out. And then you'll realize you have let a real gem slipped through your fingers. I feel sorry for those feeling depressed stuck staring at our empty trophy cabinet. Because they should be looking at the whole thing. The Arsenal FC. A great future is being built by the prof. A future that promises more than just trophies. If you can't wait for the trophies to arrive (and trophies are all that you care about, I might add), try FC Bacelona instead. And that goes out to you know who. |

I'm psyched to see Rockin' Robin back in action.
What's all this stuff about calling for Arsene's head ? That is madness. The manager is world class and it will take a miracle to get a manager who can do the things Wenger does given the resources at his disposal. Enough said. Spurs here we come This post has been edited by kazek: Apr 15 2010, 01:07 AM |
