If your parcel comes in big box or cost RM500 and above then most like will get detained by the customs...if parcel is small and cost below RM500 most likely will pass thru customs without much problem. This comes from my experiences so I don't think you will have to worry much. Just wait. And oh-shipping from UK is very fast...normal airmail usually reach within 7 working days biggrin.gif

20 quid is just about Rm90++, you dont have to worry about being detained by customs.

Advised to not to use Royal Air Mail.

Use DHL or Fedex services.

5-6 days guaranteed to reach [depends any issue during shipping]

Royal Air Mail is fine since I have never lost anything so far... I've been using them for years but if you can spend extras for courier services then go ahead.

I've been receiving my blu-ray through Royal Air Mail too , never been tempered nor torn.

Nice bubble wrapped packaging, but late in arrival..

well using royal is definitely cheaper than courier service.
disadvantage is it's not entirely safe and trackable.

so the other option would be to use royal mail's international signed for service.
cheaper than courier and much safer than royal mail small packets.
it has to be signed for upon receipt and there is a tracking number that can be traced.

Nope, as long as the item that you're purchasing can be shipped to Malaysia given that they charge in sterling for that, you should be able to do the transaction.

Not many UK sites ships to MYS , try Amazon, they do ship to MYS , 5-7 days i guess..

Not needed any longer. Found my own forwarding address to sort out the issue.
Thanks for the advise , and sorry the late late response. Been busy somewhere else.

does the cost of RM500 include the delivery charges?
any difference between express delivery to normal one beside the timeline?
if the custom impose the tax, what will be the likely percentage?
