If your parcel comes in big box or cost RM500 and above then most like will get detained by the customs...if parcel is small and cost below RM500 most likely will pass thru customs without much problem. This comes from my experiences so I don't think you will have to worry much. Just wait. And oh-shipping from UK is very fast...normal airmail usually reach within 7 working days 
does the cost of RM500 include the delivery charges?any difference between express delivery to normal one beside the timeline?
if the custom impose the tax, what will be the likely percentage?
