Got, really irritating cage in front of it with really small openings.
This image is not cropped, this is as I took it. Yes the cage has been blurred out due to the bokeh at f/2.8.
*
walaooo, clean invisible cage smile.gif
i thought u cropped it to make it clean.
did u use tri/mono pods

everyone's recommending the D90  hmm.gif

Ok guys, can someone help me with the best street price for this as kit ( 70 - 105 mm , is that rite ? )  and with genuine warranty pls..... and whereabouts ? cheers fellas
*
its a 18-105mm VR lens for the d90 kit.
Market price is around rm3300, just go to the nearest place
around your area. No point going for a cheap so far away
to scout for the price, if its too expensive then just go kl area
just make sure its nikon warranty.

Shooting the moon takes lots of tries and practice. You have to mess with the Shutter and Aperture in M mode smile.gif

Here's mine during last month smile.gif

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Aperture: f/7.1
Shutter: 1/250
Focal Length: 200mm I only have 55-200, so that's the max that I could zoom smile.gif
ISO: 200 and Handheld tongue.gif

Cheers
*
havent try shooting the moon yet

hahahaha as I said, shooting the moon takes loads of patience hahahaha I took this during the Earth Hour last month. Got nothing to do, so I spent the whole hour outside my home shooting the moon and messing with all the settings to get it right. It was a good investment smile.gif  And yeah... I cropped it smile.gif

For those who are short of cash and can only afford a D3000, I took this pic using my D3000. It's a decent camera la, just that it's not as good as its other older brothers only smile.gif
Cheers

hmm.gif all this while i tot D90 can radio triggered SB900...
so does it mean that D90 has no CLS features?
*
i think u dont understand what is cls, maybe u should study it more
d90 have commander mode to control all the flash output.
cls doesnt mean only flash triggering, its more like controlling the power of few flashes
that u about to trigger based on how much power u want individually using a master to control all
hope i explain it in the right way rclxub.gif

i dont know about u guys
I really do think d3 is really meant for professional photog
how the hell u going to carry this beast around for travels and leisure ??
d700 is way better for hobbyist in full frame levels minus the low pixels

maybe its my bag, d90+grip 2 lens + flash can really give me back pain sometimes.
