QUOTE(ukiya @ Apr 29 2010, 01:57 AM)
hey guys!

got some questions... just now wanna buy Nissin Di622, then went for a try, but when my d5000 switch to M, S, A, P and other mode, master flash fired but Nissin Flash (slave mode) nissin not fire at all? is it normal or its just setting issue? any1 encounter the same?

Try take near shot just to make sure the nissin detect the flash and fired it - but it didnt fired.
Try change battery in many brands for nissin (scare re-charging time slow) still same - not fired.

Only Potrait, AUTO and Night mode on the dial command is selected, only this modes master flash is fired, only nissin will fired the flash. isit normal?

Setting issue on M, A, S, P mode? why nissin just cannot fired when master flash was fired ? Or my camera body issue? Lens?

In the end, not dare to buy 1st ... help icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

This only applicable to Slave Flash Mode ... the rest TTL is all fine!

when wan do slave , camera need in TTL mode . my unit works.

in my case, the shop ppl demostrate to me 1st smile.gif

hmmm... but weird is why the slave flash couldnt fire while master flash fired it ... !?

Just check, my flash previously is set to manual mode flash instead of TTL, now set back TTL d. Would this be one of the reason why the nissin flash didnt fire out the flash!?
*
erm .. my flash can fire also even i choose the power for it .

maybe u shud start with why people do HDR 1st

read up on what is "dynamic range" in the 1st place. probably that way u'll understand better and why 3 (or more) pictures at different exposures are needed to achieve a "high" dynamic range

the word RANGE is key smile.gif
*
ok bro , i always think HDR is high definition ==

Gotta remember, for the basic model, (D3000 and 1000D) Canon seems better with CMOS sensor and also built in motor. D3000 is using CCD sensor and does not come with AF built in motor.
*
agree with u bro .

1000D + canon 50mm f1.8 is just naise , the lens is cheap too smile.gif

1000d noise control should be better than d3000 right? since it is using CMOS sensor.

QUOTE(seng87 @ May 6 2010, 11:42 PM)
Choosing on what ISO to shoot is depending on the light source... If under extreme conditions, we got no choice but to bump the ISO higher, if there is an acceptable light source, we can lower the ISO to make sure the pic has the lowest possible noise on it... If u got tripod with u, that will be better, cause long exposure won't be a problem already.. But it depends on what kind of shot u are taking... IIANM, D90 or D5000 will get obvious noise if there is too much white scene in the pic...

thanks for clarify it bro .

a flash is good for indoor, bounce the ceiling / wall .
in outdoor ( low light ,) a prime will suit you , f1.8 or f1.4
