Di622's size can fight sb900... but the build quality is very plasticky, still a bit lighter than sb900 try hanging on your neck n your D3000 will face downwards with the flash protruding frontwards  |

and it's the most user friendly ever~ except the on-off button need to be pressed 2 sec... |
