QUOTE(klseet @ May 21 2010, 10:12 AM) 1 dish to 4 byond decoders max i.e 1 LNB out to 1 byond decoder and cannot split. If you have 4 byond, you get a dish with 4 LNBsYou can only split if the output is connecting to a normal box. OR 1 dish to 3 byond and the other LNB output can use splitter to two or 3 normal decoder OR 1 dish to 2 byond and the other two to splitters and connect 6 normal decoders OR... you get the idea? QUOTE(klseet @ May 21 2010, 10:12 AM) ??? dish receives everything. only you decide which decoder is on which channel This post has been edited by SiriuslyCold: May 21 2010, 11:34 AM |

1440x1080 is 4:3 right? it's probably because they started HD broadcast way before 16:9 TVs became popular

QUOTE(digilife @ May 24 2010, 07:45 AM) FX HD. I was just kidding anyway, they'd probably never show Californication here (tho they did on FX Channel in SG)![]() This post has been edited by SiriuslyCold: May 24 2010, 09:56 AM |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ May 26 2010, 09:23 PM) ROFL! thanks. If you appreciate geek humor, you should be watching The Big Bang Theory if not already.also the other day I came across Nerdstock ... not for everyone though - the event title is, er, somewhat sensitive. It's a BBC programme, but I felt justified d/l'ding it as (1) it will probably not be shown on TV Here (because of the title, at the very least) and (2) they will confiscate the DVD (if there is one and you can order it) This post has been edited by SiriuslyCold: May 26 2010, 09:52 PM |

QUOTE(dxjb @ May 28 2010, 03:32 AM) eh..FX HD should go under which package eh? We don't even have FX SD so I dunno... In Singapore it's the same package as BBC Lifestyle, Style Network, truTV, BBC Entertainment, MGM (old movies, mostly) and TCM (Classic b/w movies)Since we don't have any of these (wtf happened to BBCE?), I guess it will go into Metro package (Granada, Bio etc) although Bio should be together with Nat Geo, IMO QUOTE(dxjb @ May 28 2010, 03:32 AM) ![]() Californication in HD This post has been edited by SiriuslyCold: May 28 2010, 03:41 AM |

QUOTE(TallJustin @ May 30 2010, 04:25 PM) We couldn't agree with you more. In fact we are concerned about it and you will see massive changes to the site and the EPG very soon. In fact I'm personally working on improving the EPG. Congratulations on the new kid And a whopper of an update.... I am looking forward to the PVR functionality. |

QUOTE(apexg2 @ Jun 1 2010, 09:22 AM) In the image it clearly says 1st Week of June ... not 1st Juneperhaps you somehow missed reading the middle part - but this is what starts rumours, then complaints. And then unreasonable whingeing ensues... now if the new website is not launched on the 8th.... This post has been edited by SiriuslyCold: Jun 1 2010, 09:33 AM |
