I did some reading and a lot of them claim there is no noticeable difference in speed when you upgrade from 1gb RAM to 2gb RAM. Is that for real? Anyone with such experience?
ALso, I've seen people claiming that there is some slight improvement in terms of speed by using sd card with windows readyboost. Can anyone clarify that? If so, the card must be of class 4 and above? Does the size (4-16gb) make a difference? What's the verdict? Pay top upgrade RAM from 1 to 2gb or pay for a high speed SD card? |

Anyone with such experience? For me sd card doesnt make any speed improvement at all.. and if you have 1gb ram the readyboost will only use up 1gb of your sd card. if 2gb ready boost will use 2gb.. so no use if you put 16gb card.. btw mine is tested with Class 4 Panasonic 4gb SDHC card and Apacer 16gb Class 4 SDHC.ALso, I've seen people claiming that there is some slight improvement in terms of speed by using sd card with windows readyboost. Can anyone clarify that? If so, the card must be of class 4 and above? Does the size (4-16gb) make a difference? What's the verdict? Pay top upgrade RAM from 1 to 2gb or pay for a high speed SD card? Best is install a 2gb ram thats what i did. Open 4-5 browser + msn still goin strong and used up 50-60% of 2gb = 1-1.2gb of ram. For sure 1gb is not enough.
