Difference:
1. LCD bezel (retail is non-bordered glass)
2. Keyboard (ours isn't chic-let, fake chic-let only)
3. Palm rest (ours is rough)
4. Back cover (ours is plain)

Unable to provide more pictures at the moment. Maybe later laugh.gif

I prefer your screen though. True anti-glare. Mine stated anti-glare but with the shiny plastic on it makes it so reflective minus one point here.

The official HP runtime for 6 cell battery is 9.5 hours. Enough for an entire day of lecture, unplugged. biggrin.gif

not sure how true is that. I haven't test the battery yet. From unboxing last nite the battery remains 49% able to last about 2.5hours before battery warning starts at 12% with many hdd loads/ restarts/ install programs etc with wifi & bluetooth on screen brightness 60%. i think in real life usage can last for abt 6hours with wifi on n 50% brightness?...

btw i must say this mini210 is so much faster than my former sony p15g equipped with z530, 64gb ssd, 2gb ram. Disabling aero/startup prgs/indexing doesnt help either on vista or win7beta. This mini210 run smooth out of the box. thumbup.gif

Count me in also in the list of hp mini 210 users.

Here's a tip, instead of shelling out 165 bucks for a 2gig ram stick, just get any thumbdrive and use it as readyboost.  Works wonders by speeding up program opening process dramatically. Windows boot and shutdown too shows a marked improvement.  I can personally vouch for an improvement of 20% in speed after applying readyboost with windows 7 starter.

What i did was i plugged in my old unused already 4gig microsd card into an adapter and permanently fixed it in the mini's card reader slot. That way, it's more convenient for me to stash the mini into the netbook sleeve without getting into harms way unlike using usb thumbdrives.

Give it a try first , no harm anyway.

For those who don't and won't use the sd card reader then it might be a good idea.

Key in "SSD" in the google search box and you have over 24M results. biggrin.gif.
So far the cheapest SSD is from Intel X25-V 40GB at around RM450.

The CULV processors are mostly single core right? If yes, I don't see any point buying it as most ULV processors I had seen are 1.3Ghz, it is even slower than netbooks. I am wondering why Intel still hasn't come out with real dual core Atom processors for netbook. It will be great if they do so.

CULV mostly in Dual core form. Pentium Dual Core SU4100, C2D SU7300, SU9400, SU9600 and etc.

Added on April 3, 2010, 6:57 pmAnd yes Mini210 does support 2GB ram. Mine is on 2Gb now.

Im using 2gb ram.. Feel slightly faster at least when u open multi-apps it still have some left. Like now Chrome 10tabs, Skype, Msn, WMP, AVG all running simultaneously used up 50% of 2gb which is full 1gb ram. If i have 1gb ram i think my computer hanged d. hehe

1gb ram is good for starter. If you upgrade to premium think u get 2gb. But im happy with 7starter with 2gb ram now.
