i also own this model of netbook. the battery only can last at most 2 hours for a 3 cells battery. dont know if this is normal or what.
with that time range, i dont felt like it is suitable for travel use. the only strong point for me is to be use as a download server where it is more quite then my desktop pc and seem like save more electric bill. as performance wise, jz so so only. Was using windows 7 starter edition but format it to android x86 4.0 to test the new OS. A lot of apps are not compatible with the netbook and the power usage is still in around 2 hours. does anyone use their netbook for other os beside windows? btw, adding 2gb ram really change the performance for this netbook. wish i notice that 1 year ago. |

I'm using HP mini 110. Any significant performance boost after upgrading RAM to 2GB? Worth paying?

yo everyone?
Just upgrade my HP mini 210 using 80GB SSD (second hand) with 2GB RAM. definitely much faster than before Window 7 Ultimate SP1 fresh installation with online update to solve all the missing driver. Anyone got any idea to overclock CPU and Graphic card? |

Hey guys, just wondering, would installing windows 8 on this netbook bring better performance?
seems that this netbook really can't keep up, even opening a youtube video lags =.= |

QUOTE(dlwl @ Sep 29 2014, 08:45 AM) Not really though, already running on the maximum ram that this notebook can support. And I've stripped down the Windows to just running the essential programs / services. Looks more like a case of the Atom proc not able to catch up... Last night I dig my store-room found my 2010 year old of Hp Mini 210.So I decide to dig Garage sale for second hand of DDR2 2GB RAM, and second hand of SATA 80GB SSD and install Windows 8, because I saw most 8inch tablet running full windows 8.1 with Atom Processors. Maybe Wins8.1 can perform better? |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Sep 29 2014, 11:14 AM) Last night I dig my store-room found my 2010 year old of Hp Mini 210. Oh those Atom processors running on the latest 8 inch tablets are a newer generation and are far more capable than the one running on the HP Mini. So it's not really right to say that Win 8.1 performs better, though in some ways it might be So I decide to dig Garage sale for second hand of DDR2 2GB RAM, and second hand of SATA 80GB SSD and install Windows 8, because I saw most 8inch tablet running full windows 8.1 with Atom Processors.
