Hey

Thanks for the replies - I know that TN panels always have this problem. In this case though, its not a narrow angle, the image changes even when i move quite a little bit in vertical direction.
But ok, even this sounds to be normal ... guess I have to live with it.

@staszek - in my opinion, this notebook is very quiet ... I use it under full load with BOINC in the background, and even then it´s quite ok for me. Just a deep fan whirling, no ´noise´.
Although core temps go up to 68°C, still have to find out if this is ok. But still, very satisfied in this regard.

Yeah, the screen issue is true. Move a little and there goes the viewing, but I don't think its much of a problem. The noise for the laptop is very mild, the only noticeable sound is when I run a DVD and thats pretty much about it. Btw my laptop runs at 34-36°c average. As I said before, for the price of 3k, its worth every buck! rclxm9.gif

PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES...... of the internals PLEASE, thank you. Dell's slow in putting the service manual online for 3700 (too new).

just a (small) philips head screw-driver on two screws holding the cover close... it'll not void your warranty....

Did anyone tried taking a peek inside their 3700 yet?

2 important requirements for me

easy replacements for HDD and coin cell battery, maybe the heat sink fan too.
