Can the dog fight... like street pass... my dog hate your dog then they fight... or lape other...

lol i don't think Ninty will ever do things like that especially games that are targeted for young people(but i like the idea )

I will get 3DS, just for The Sims 3...tired with PC version already...

hi guys, im in JP myself actually. went to mall and saw 3Ds demo units. played a couple of them... they're launching this coming sat 26th Feb 2011 i'm pretty sure all of you know that by now

the catch is, i'm flying back on 26th itself... oh well. i tried my luck to ask them if its possible to get one before that.. but... sad to say.. 2 branches of Bic Camera stores told me preorder sold out.. =____=!!!

really ... speechlesss..... guess my best bet would be import or wait for someone to import from U.S. next month.. sigh..

oh well, at least get to experience what's the fuss about and see the real thing for myself... must ... have... SF IV 3D....

and Nintendo.. where the h3ll is my Advance Wars 3d?

brief impression:-

1) appearance not as slick as nintendo dslite but not as ugly as ds phat..

2) im not a big fan of circle sliding pad (or whatever they call it) and its a shame that they put it on top instead of d pad. guess the reason for this is for 3d games analog control? the sliding pad surface has a matte feel to it.. not sure if it will catch dirt and turned dirty in the long run or not. D pad and face buttons are shiny plastics...

3) 3D really works... seeing really is believing, but if the game e.g. SF IV being turned into 2D mode, the graphic really didn't pop anymore. looked a bit bland... so the 3D helps significantly, I tried to test how it works... kinda magical if you turn on the 3D mode... you try closing 1 eye at a time. you can actually see the objects in the screen shifted slightly to the left or right (depending on eye). open both eyes and viola! 3D effect top 3D screen larger than bottom screen but not by much.. resolution still not insanely high by today's standard (spoiled by my iPhone 4, but given nintendo has never really aimed for high specs rather than innovative features.. i see this give them more room to improve on future models)

4)They showed a bunch of games on the demo floor, SF IV, puzzle bobble, professor layton (can't play..JP skill needed), the dino fighting game (which is quite lame IMHO), ridge racer (not bad but again, 3D off.. it looked much more bland than the original PSP's RR launch title), the Romance of the 3 kingdoms (not a big fan of the series, just jumped in and slash a couple of guys)

5) tried to access other features of the system (most particularly the 3D camera but pressing home button does nothing and keeps the unit locked into their specific game cartridge only) sigh...

The games are all piled up on the shelf where the demo units are located... not sure if i still get a chance to get a unit before i come back or not

any idea if the games would be region locked? never really follow 3Ds news
