Hi guys/gals,

Just got my 50V20k a few days ago. Still running it in with Cinema mode. Sort of 'upgrading' from a HDReady 42in LG plasma. Performance is OK. Just that it has this peculiar buzzing sound at the back of the panel, something which my LG didn't have.

Anyone came across this? It is very faint, not audible when watching TV/video even after muting volume. But audible when you're looking at the back of the panel. It comes from the right side of the panel.

I got mine from TBM OKR at RM4999. Added RM400 for the extended 3yrs warranty to make a total of 5yrs. Total paid was RM5399, including delivery and 12mth installment (took it up coz they won't give rebate for cash transaction).

Regarding Best not updating their price.....not that they don't want to update their pricing for V20k. they mentioned they can't show pricing lower than that coz Pana doesn't allow them to. Price control.....


I can get RM4999 from Best too last month, but didn't buy from them coz no stock. TBM OTH got stock and needless to say I bought from them coz I don't want to wait (no TV at home then).
