Just bought my first plasma after years on a crt. Got the Panasonic P42x28k from Midvalley Harvey Norman for 2299. Very happy with the tv but a bit too much glare during the day for dark scenes. But overall very impressed with my first hdtv.

Just wanted to share and thank everyone for helping me decide on what model to buy.

Hi, I decided to get my p42x20 after reading this thread, so thanks for the great information guys.

Just wanted to share something I discovered today. You can actually control your ps3 slim using your TV remote control. Just activate "control with HDMI" in your ps3 settings and you're set. I think it has something to do with Viera Link.

It's pretty cool. Just thought I'd share it with you guys.

And for those wondering, I love my TV. It's great!
