Saw in Jaya Jusco One Utama P.J. about 2 weeks ago selling for RM3,999.00 with 10% discount. At that time got 6 units left.

Bought mine in December last year for RM3,050.00

By now my S10K bought in December last year I think have hit the 1,000 hours mark.  I have no problem whatsoever with the issue concerned. 

I think lot of people are to obsessed with the issue & maybe a lot of them are also perfectionist too.

Just enjoy whatever you have purchased.

I noticed only the 2010 V series 42" Plasma is FullHD with NeoPDP Panel, 2 usb ports, 5,000,000:1 contrast, etc... So it is not an entry model? like the 2009 S10K model.  And I presume it will be more expensive than the 2009 S10K. 

And Panasonic Malaysia is not bringing in the I presume the S20K to replace the 2009 S10K?

In US, the 2009 S1 which is like equivalent to our S10K have already been replaced by the S2 for 2010 & it is cheaper the S1.

Why not petition Panasonic Malaysia to bring in the S20K model which in my opinion will be cheaper then the S10K following the trend in the US.

I have already bought mine P42S10K last December & I don't mind to start the petition  rolling for the benefit of those who are interested in the 2010 P42S10K replacement model. 

I feel bad for people still looking for the P42S10K & they are out of stock & now Panasonic is not planning to bring in the 2010 replacement model.  Is it because they will be cheaper than the 2009 P42S10K model like in the US.

guys, i went to harvey norman to check out on the pana plasma.
spotted 1 THP42G10k.

they are selling the display unit for 4100 n new unit for 4699.

i requested the sales person to let me access the service mode ; i manage to reach the last step. n got stuck there..

today i compared U50 and X50 side by side (well one on top and on the bottom) at HN
not much difference..... 

the panny 50'' v20 is having a promo right now at TBM @ RM 6,799 + bd45 + 5 years warranty

seems the print on the brochure says it has " infinite black " and confirmed by the salesman. the contrast and colors looks impressive . the reflection are much less compare to the new X and U series. the bezel looks really nice and classy just like last year Z series and black level are always impressive for panny plasma.

but when i touch the panel , it is hotter than the hdready x series. the 24p features are missing though after checking through the remote but it has a game mode

but one thing is for sure , this panny new model color reproduction and contrast is really good . 5,000,000 to 1 . contrast even better than last year top of the line Z series

I'm just a new owner of Plasma TV (never buy any plasma before).
My Plasma is Panasonic V20,
The only problem that I have is...why if I put black image in the screen it doesn't look as black as my old LCD, it is more grayish black.

I'm alittle bit confused, since I bought the TV just to expect INFINITE BLACK expereience of plasma.

Is my unit faulty or this is a natural of plasma.

Anyway, when the TV off, the screen also look dark grey.
Please help to enlighten me.

In the warranty card, there is this T&C:

Please Note: You are required to present the warranty card together with the purchase receipt for your free warranty service, failing which the company or its authorised service dealer reserves the right to decline any warranty claim.

The warranty of the tv is 2 years (minimum).  By that time the model has obsoleted. Will the shop give you a new receipt stating the new "purchase" date?
I don't think they will do that. Furthermore, now all the receipts are generated by the computer.

Where to register online?

Why cannot complain about the price and yet buy the item?

goes to show that we kena tipu big time and no need to compare prices with Western countries only, even our neighbour sells it cheaper.

They know Msians don't like to "complain" about price and just pay whatever.
