Aiyoh, cannot afford Kuro la.....
Honestly, I don't intend to spend too much due to rapid technology advancement, may be change TV on yearly basis. So I'm looking for best budget deal.
Actually the main reason for me to get my first Plasma is for the up-coming Worldcup. My eyes really cannot tahan fast moving things on LCD, also somehow I don't seem to "see" more natural colours on LCD.
I'm not really worry about IR since I won't use it for gaming or computer stuff. Even with static channel logo, I'm hoping that the latest technology can help to "erase-off".
But from my short viewing at Harvey, correct me if I'm wrong, it seem to me that Samsung's reflection is more than Panasonic, or is it because of the lighting & positioning at shop?
Also, I noticed that PS42C450 has "clear" reflection image whereas the previous model PS42B450 has somehow double-image reflection. Or is it just my eyes problem ??
Can someone help to re-confirm this ?

Hi SunnyK,
I also see both C450 & B450 side by side with the same Korean girl dancing MTV, I might be wrong but what I saw was:
In terms of glare/reflection: C450 has more glare/reflection with single & clear object visibility; whereas B450 can see double-image reflection.
In terms of PQ: C450 seem to be smoother and slightly more "solid" compare to B450.
Did you notice this as well ?
Actually I've been asking 3 times here about Sammy glare/reflection but seem no one response ...... I just want to confirm whether is my eyes got problem or may be it's the TV setting or ???

"solid" as to the picture quality, just more solid & firm compare to B450. May be you are right, the C450 is new and may be with different setting compared to the B450 which has been there for quite sometime.
Anywhere, did you see double-image reflection on B450 and C450 single & clear reflection image?

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1167339]http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb Since Panny is troubled by this issue, I guess the question is will Panny here willing to cover such problem IF we encounter it within the warranty period? And will they continue to cover those 2+2 kind of extended warranty period ? This post has been edited by klseet: Apr 12 2010, 01:49 PM

QUOTE(chewkl @ Apr 12 2010, 01:52 PM) Panny already said the raising black levels are "BY DESIGN". So there is nothing wrong with it. I think that probably make people angry and now Panasonic ended up with lawsuit: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/technology/992438/http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10462551-1.htmlI was in the middle between Panny & Sammy but I decided to conclude with Sammy now waiting for delivery. Honestly, I really hope Panny at least do something for future batch and to win back the good name & product again. This post has been edited by klseet: Apr 12 2010, 05:55 PM
