We are all adult so I don't know why these question can't be placed in this thread at all.

Different people like different thing because as far as picture is concern, there are differences.

Color wise. Panasonic are softer but more natural. Samsung are sharper but less natural (some would called it more vivid). For me vivid equates to cartoon color so I picked Panasonic so every time I went to check out TV, I always insist they not put on cartoon show for me to watch. I insisted on watching picture with real human skin tone.

As for watching normal Standard Definition program, Samsung seems to have better reputation.

But on reliability, people told me Panasonic has better reputation.
