QUOTE(Cliff_Tan73 @ Jul 13 2010, 12:20 AM) Cant remember the model no. I go home and recheck and repost later. Its the same set as advertised by Panasonic leaflet. 1 Merdeka promotion.QUOTE(gisella @ Jul 13 2010, 12:39 PM) RM2499 from sen Heng is a good deal. Yeah. I was curious. The set advertised by Panasonic was P42A28 whereas the one offered by SenHeng is P42A20. I asked them why different. I dont know if it s real or not. This is my first plasma by the way. The salesman said A20 is actually a special series just for SenHeng. But specs is exactly the same as A28. there is one seller selling P42A28 at Rm2280 cash n carry. so, u pay extra Rm200++ for the sen heng service is acceptable. By the way guys, need help. I played some TVB DVDs ( The series on Astro Demand, But I bought DVDs). The aspect ratio is not correct. I tried adjusting. But cant. 16:9 still cut them off at the head. How to rectify this? Does not happen with other DVDs. I have tested. |

QUOTE(cucubud @ Jul 14 2010, 07:44 AM) Did you set Overscan to OFF? Try setting it to ON. Yeah. Off-ed. Still have lines. And actually the aspect ratio is still not right. Can still see its slightly zoom in. GUess I ll just have to make do. This is the original TVD DVDs. LOL.You have to play around those settings to get the setting you like most. QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jul 14 2010, 08:00 AM) Overscan off on BD/DVD and overscan on for Astro. Satellite broadcast will have the "junk" lines. (The junk lines are actually useful but not for us) Ok. Thanks for the info bro. |

Okok. Did some test with the aspect ratios using the following yesterday:
-DVD - Aspect ratio a bit weird (sometimes, the screen is smaller) -TVB DVD (Pictures looked zoom in a bit) -Blue Ray Copy DVD - Perfect picture -720p Files- The BEST!~ My Plasma is just HD Ready hence I didnt test the 1080 files. |
