here in kluang, i just bought an 50u plasma, rm4500 tv only with free hdmi cable n panasonic standby light. will send to my house 730pm.

I saw today P50V20 is RM6299 with free bluray player. Anfieldude, is V as good as the KRP500?

Received P50U20K yesterday after 1week placed order but the Bluray Player BD45 is still outstanding.
TV does not come with S-Video input (if you are still using non Astro Beyond Decoder).
Quite reflective but tolerable if you control your room light.
Since no Bluray player, tested TV with my existing Pioneer DVD upscale to 1080i and quality out-performed my previous 720p 42" plasma.
Tested Avatar, Transformer and Last Samurai with room light off and TV produce excellent clarity.  Wonder if I need to switch to Bluray??
TV sound is quite impressive on Astro.
As mentioned earlier, if you have no 50" to compare side by side, the quality improves day by day and you'll fell in love with; just like woman.

New term, Panasonic of Samsung...   or LCD of Plasma or Plasma of LCD...

The x20k and U20k model. Can't see any diff actually in terms of pq.

FYI there are lots of stock everywhere else. Almost every place also got stock. Only no such pricing.

the panny 50'' v20 is having a promo right now at TBM @ RM 6,799 + bd45 + 5 years warranty

seems the print on the brochure says it has " infinite black " and confirmed by the salesman. the contrast and colors looks impressive . the reflection are much less compare to the new X and U series. the bezel looks really nice and classy just like last year Z series and black level are always impressive for panny plasma.

but when i touch the panel , it is hotter than the hdready x series. the 24p features are missing though after checking through the remote but it has a game mode

but one thing is for sure , this panny new model color reproduction and contrast is really good . 5,000,000 to 1 . contrast even better than last year top of the line Z series
