A quick question here.

Does plasma support 4:3 tv program? what I worry that is when converting 4:3 into widescreen (full screen) and it make the screen stretched ( people face looks like hamburger style). Even though it do maintain properly, but i don wan it to be viewed by showing two black bars on left/right side. (Burn-in effect). Can anyone share ur experiences?

Just bought p42v20k(RM2550). The price just dropped recently (1~2 weeks ago), should be in 2.6k~ 2.8k. Many shops still not update their price yet.. You should ask properly..

The research i done, the previous price should be from 4k++ > 3.5k > now is 2.6~2.8++.

Previously, i'm also wanna buy LCD/LED but after the promoter introduce me plasma,
LCD, I changed my mind. What i listened from promoter that when you look at LED TV, there is sticker sticked with term "LED LCD TV" instead of showing "LED TV". This mean this is LCD-based with adding a LED light panel as an ADD-on. Like a hybrid version of LCD TV. so I drop my mind on LED. I don't know much about LED TV..U may go and look for wikipedia (just a comment, correct me if i'm wrong)

As for LCD, u better try to press on the screen see whether a big water wave come out. If yes, the LCD used single layer for screen (unreliable if ur home kids keep pressing on the screen hardly). (Unsure!! told by promoter). I ask him why some LCD cost 999 only... so this is the reason...(of course included lack of HDMI & other features). Good luck...

haha, u're much better... I was looking this on JUSCO in mid valley before . Still in $4899. Totally same as its initial price. Totally no update at all. Cos that place are not competitive
