The wifi doogle is very expensive, selling for around US100 or UK100 (DY-WL10) - checked at amazon

The best option to go wireless is with a new product by dlink model DAP-1350. It allows an ethernet port to be used as a wifi

Price and availability in malaysia not comfirm yet. Can be seen in their website.

I think the price difference bewteen U50 and V50 will be around RM1500.

The plasma in Malaysia are cheaper than earlier because they are now assembled in Singapore and not Japan

U50 in Malaysia is cheaper compared to in Singapore (RM5299 vs S2699 - RM6260)

U need to pay extra depending on ur model (P50U20K is RM330 for additional 3 year) if ur warranty is 2 years. U need to register online to get this extended warranty.

Some shops would get u the warranty when u purchase and pay the extra amount

There are 2 types of extended warranty when u buy from shop:
1. Warranty directly from Panasonic
2. Warranty from insurance company

You could get a panasonic home theater set with arc (audio return channel). By using the same brand (with HDMI connection), u will be able to use either remote of tv or home theater to control volume or change channel (viera link). Also ur tv supports ARC so when u connect with a home theater with ARC, there will less cable at the back as the audio is sent through hdmi to the home theater from the tv when watching astro or tv channels (no audio cable required)

It will good to get a blu-ray home theater as u can enjoy more ur full HD plasma.

As for me, i am using Panasonic P50U20K plasma with SC-BT735 (Panasonic blu-ray home theater) and astro beyond. Connection via HDMI (2 cables only at the back)

I paid 2550 for sc-bt735 (got it from forumer iamsobloodysick)

Maybe u need to get a receiver plus speakers to connect all of them - onkyo, yamaha, pioneer, sony ....
