@king, the cut on the finger is not really a concern... you can register all your fingers so even if ur 2nd finger is cut/damaged you can use your other fingers which you enrolled.

It makes logging in to ur windows easier in a way. No need type password, just swipe ur finger. I personally prefer using the fingerprint reader.

the fingerprint reader i'm using is my friend's VAIO. Since can enrol 10, i'm holding 2 slots, like that I don't need to know his password (since most of us use common passwords for many things...) and i can still use his computer without him around. His vaio is 2-3 years old, still working fine.

As for acer, my other friend has been using his for 3 years, and has no problem with the fingerprint reader... and i don't think it'll affect other components if it breaks down.

@fastreader, sometimes those bigger shops (prices here based on those shops in lowyat) can give better discount. Or you could try nicely ask ur store there whether possible to have it slightly cheaper.

yea, the guy say mid september oni come.

5650 lvl is around the same as the gt335m. And about ultra settings on the m11x, the ss i saw was around 20fps, so you might wanna lower the settings.

5650 performance, you can go ask those people with y460 about its performance.

lol Asus A42Jv is your best bet. They have the least product failures, and also it comes standart with 2 year international warranty. Also, it the best for gaming.

well, i'll hail the A42Ja if your budget can stretch that far.

Added on September 7, 2010, 8:38 pm@Riggo, about the LCD specs... hm... well the A42Ja's closes cousin is the N82Jq bah... and the N82Jq is averaging 205-210nits, and the contrast is 1/144 i think..... (got from notebookreview)
