Let say I have RM100,000 ~ I invest all in Starreit... dividend 7%
then every year can get RM7,000 x 2 = RM14,000 per year ??
*
i sell all my assets to buy if this is the formula....the 7% is per annum.... so RM 7000 is the answer but the 7% is not fix... may change from time to time depend to the rental receivable - management expenses...... right? whistling.gif

So can we buy STARREIT in now? Is it at lower price now? Tx sifus..smile.gif

Added on December 13, 2010, 12:30 pmBesides, how dividend is paid? If next Feb is the divident pay out date for Starreit now, if buy it now, only 2 months away, which is not applicable for half a year period dividend sharing. So can we still get the dividend on Feb if buy it now?

Thx
*
can get the divvy as long as buy before ex-date which will be announce before the ex-date. buy now or buy later u can decide urself since we cannot predict the future. i'm holding too. will top up also when funds is available...... u got ur choice just decide ur own, as no one can really buy at the rock bottom price. happy investing. cool2.gif

icon_rolleyes.gif Cheap in the sense that if you buy it at 1.14 cents price, you yield will be around 8% cause AL-AQAR gives about 4.43 cents dividend...so you figure it out if it's cheap or not. whistling.gif ...at around 8% yield it's definately much higher than the other reits. rclxm9.gif So go pick it up. whistling.gif

icon_rolleyes.gif And their profit also increase too...
Tuesday,  30 Nov 2010

5:14PM  Nine-month net profit 30.429 million (increased 14.88%)
icon_rolleyes.gif I think it's those who had benefit from the proposal & got their shares at...this..... NEW UNITS IN AL-`AQAR AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.98 PER UNIT
icon_rolleyes.gif So it could be these new shareholders who are throwing away their shares at a immediate profit of about 16 to 17 cents per share......I can think of no others. whistling.gif
wub.gif Cheers to all. wub.gif

Yea i know..
But we do not know if they would want to include that in the SUNREIT portfolio or not.

But that phase3 development will see it making extension in the Sunway Pyramid as well if I am not wrong about it, and giving out more retail space.
Direct or indirectly also contributing

Quoted from the link
"a 2.5 retail podium (extension of Sunway Pyramid New Wing), with a net lettable area of 240,000 sq ft and 900 parking bays. Linked to the existing mall, the RM250 million project is expected to be completed in August 2014. "

all the developement will be own by sunreit if their parents are willing to sell it if not then not related, just can calculate fingers only. whistling.gif
