If I buy REIT at SG market, do i get dividend?

Let say I have RM100,000 ~ I invest all in Starreit... dividend 7%
then every year can get RM7,000 x 2 = RM14,000 per year ??

RM100,000 + 7% = RM7000
1 year 2 times dividend = RM14,000
Got it ??

Malaysian buy SG REIT tax exempted?

Added on December 13, 2010, 12:30 pmBesides, how dividend is paid? If next Feb is the divident pay out date for Starreit now, if buy it now, only 2 months away, which is not applicable for half a year period dividend sharing. So can we still get the dividend on Feb if buy it now?

Cheap in the sense that if you buy it at 1.14 cents price, you yield will be around 8% cause AL-AQAR gives about 4.43 cents dividend...so you figure it out if it's cheap or not. ...at around 8% yield it's definately much higher than the other reits. So go pick it up.

I think it's those who had benefit from the proposal & got their shares at...this..... NEW UNITS IN AL-`AQAR AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.98 PER UNIT
So it could be these new shareholders who are throwing away their shares at a immediate profit of about 16 to 17 cents per share......I can think of no others.

But we do not know if they would want to include that in the SUNREIT portfolio or not.

But that phase3 development will see it making extension in the Sunway Pyramid as well if I am not wrong about it, and giving out more retail space.

why sell so cheap?

and this is gross yield, net yield is 5.4% after deducting witholding tax.

For Axreit, extra 0.2 cents from the gain of properties disposal can be expected.
