PS3 or XBOX360 has better gameplay experiences? Thinking of buying either one... or both?

well is really depends on your self preference. ps3 have their exclusive and good titles as well as xbox360 do. easy solution : get both straight where you can play all the exclusive games in both consoles like

how much do you spend when you buy the comp? we cant relieve much on a 1k comp for a good and smooth performance and graphic

but if i were u, i choose either PS3 or Elite 360 n heaps of 2nd hand games.

not really much..
around 2k plus for Quaddie + 4GB ram +4850 (its perform couple of times better than PS3 graphic)
and i can use my ring for hhome theater, watch anime, read mnga, browing internet etc..

and for sure its main REASON i built it..
GAMING.

Eh, my gaming rig has a Asus A8N-SLI mobo and one pair ASUS EN7800GT in SLI with X-Fi Fatality and imported Asus P1 PhysX and Crucial 2GB DDR400. Topped off with AMD Athlon64X2 4200+ and 120GB WD SATA2 HD. Very high end when I built it in 2005 and took over a year to complete, and by the time completed cost almost RM10k.

Obsoleted in three years. Cannot even run Bioshock without getting "bioshocked".

Amount of money pumped into it and the amount of hell it gave me (mainly related to PSU - PSUs above 500w was still hard as hell to find back then, and one instance of mobo chipset fan burning out- that rig's mobo was victim of Asus' faulty chipset fan issue) and how it became obsolete so fast made me swear never to ever build another gaming rig ever again.

As for where the machine is now, it's now my primary work PC. Can still play games, but not the this-year's-top-demanding game.

I have both, but I would reckon you to go PS3.

PC I got already. But some games only for consoles... like God Of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII...

if u are rich enough just buy PC, PS3 and Xbox. just buy what u want. both have own unique game play exprience. i assumed coz i dont have xbox. later if got more money buy another one. simple is not it.

More PS3 exclusive games since 2009 till now.

PS3 cheaper than before.

PS3 Community is larger & more lively

Another things, you may consider which console most of your friends always online...
Playing with friends we know is much more fun than unknown people.

PNS free - cos XBOX live need to pay like 60USD per year to play online.
PS3 got wifi, but XBOX have to buy wireless adapter. Not many ppl got ethernet ports near TV.
XBOX reported more RROD compared to PS3 YLOD.

i dun think PC gaming is cheap, a PC game cost around Rm100 still if u ignore Jack Sparrow version and the PC itself cause a bomb, a 2k complete desktop will not able to last you long before u need to adjust the settings to lower spec

FF versus is PS3 exclusive...XD Get both la... No need think so much.. If got enuff to only buy one now.. Buy PS3 first..Why.... Because the games are region free... That the beauty of Sony... Xbox is discriminating.. So Xbox comes later... And we only have screamyx... And normally Xbox exclusive games are abundant.. And super cheap few months later... so boleh tunggu...

actually Xbox can be said as the extension to PC gaming, Xbox 1 is using x86 CPU with 3.5" IDE Harddrive, Xbox 360 can use DirectX and .NET, porting from PC games to Xbox 360 games is just within few clicks.

M$ has paid some developers for not releasing the games on PC, only let it to be Xbox 360 exclusive, eg: GOW2

I can't stop to think that Xbox is just like a PC made by M$ to suck more money, for each game that is released on Xbox 360, M$ would get certain percentage from the publisher/developer.

Sony on the other hand, spent alot of funds and effort in making PS3, from Bluray to Cell, all were prepared to make it on PS3.

And now I remember, Xbox 360 CPU is similar with the PPE of Cell of PS3

RROD is not an issue now since the jasper xbox 360 got no problem till now..get both if u rich enough and sell one of them after u got satisfied which one is better..haha

I must get a 360 to go with my PS3 and Wii this year. Need to expedite, this morning switch on portable TV, saw Viva Pinata. Think it's a message from whatever power that's screwing with my life at the moment (JHVH1, "The Light", "Goddess of Mana", "Great Justice", whatever) to get a 360 or suffer the consequences...

1. The X found on the XBox is meant to be DirectX
2. MS paid or not pay doesn't affect gamers or anything, it's their money.
3. Undeniably MS made XBox with intention to make money, but which developer doesn't?
4. Sony on the other hand spent lots of funds in order to make money for themselves, not charity.
