people already told u the superior choice hands down, but you still insist on 360.... If you're not looking for an opinion, then don't start a thread.

seems like u already made your decision.
besides, 360 is a fail..... with 53% chance for hardware failure.

It all comes down to what games you wanna play. Checking out console exclusives and deciding on what you wanna play is the best way to choose a console.

PS3 is still plagued by the YLOD issue once a while, and dead lens problem
Not sure yet if the slim version solved these issues.

Xbox360 wise the failure rate (3RROD) USED to be very high, until recently with the release of Jasper set, which claims to have solved the 3RROD issue. Until now after the launch of Jasper set more than 10 months ago, haven't heard any one kena such issue anymore.

Game library wise, both are almost equal in strength, but Xbox360 are having the slight upperhand for now.

and of cos, PS3 has the upperhand in media playing, eg: Bluray

Online multiplayer wise, I would say both are equal in strength, albeit one need to pay subscription for online multiplayer, and one is free. But xbox live is more govern, monitored and stable according to some.

and if you are still undecided, get a Wii then tongue.gif

he wanna go pirated mode, so online or off9 doesnt matter for him. PS3 game library is honestly limited, but then, there are great games like uncharted series, MGS4, resistance series, killzone and some more. xbox360 game library is huge. But then, if wanna compare online, xbox live is much more better.

greyshadow pretty much sums up the state of things rather well.

right now many of the developers for the ps3 are finally getting the hang of coding for that monstrous cell broadband engine. I see a good deal of great releases exclusive to the ps3.

If you are a 'any game' player, then just pick one and be done with it. You are not going to get awfully helpful advice here.

If there is a chance you figure you would enjoy playing certain games over others, investigate those games and what systems they will be available on.
