technically it does , but reality unless you're having a fast fps , it doesn't matter.. but its better to stick back to sdhc if your camera is meant for sdhc.

I have a Transcend 8GB Class 10. Initially it has no problem shooting Full HD videos continuously but after I format the card once with my Canon 60D, the same problem as yours started to occur. doh.gif

Btw, I will be bulking some 16GB Sandisk Extreme HD Video 30mB/s (200X) read/write at very good price. Stay tune. tongue.gif

that one too expensive. Moreover, is it necessary to get 45mb/s?

from the market price the gap is not too much(the last time i see,or the 30mb/s version getting cheaper?) and the uhs-1 is effective for camera that utilize the new buses, like nikon d7000

Interested in your bulk of 16GB Sandisk Extreme at good price drool.gif
BTW, any different between SanDisk Extreme HD Video SDHC & original SanDisk Extreme SDHC Class 10? Are they same Classes?
Also, found that there are 2 models of SanDisk Extreme HD Video SDHC, 1 is 20 MB/s & 1 is 30 MB/s. Are their Classes different?
Thanks in advance.

Class is the minimum speed the card will read/write - Class 6 mean the card should be able to do at least 6MB/s, Class 10 at least 10MB/s., etc. I am not really sure why but i think the higher Class base rating is max at 10 at the moment and the standard will move to UHS Speed. Please do correct me if I am wrong coz I am not 100% sure about this speed rating.

So even if the cards are the same at Class 10, some will write at the minimum 10MB/s while other may write faster at 15MB/s, 20MB/s, 30MB/s or 45MB/s. To distinguish itself from the normal Class 10 card, some manufacturer like Sandisk states more accurate speed rating - 15MB/s, 20MB/s or 30MB/s on their Class 10 card. So even though 20 MB/s and 30MB/s SanDisk Extreme HD Video SDHC are both Class 10, their writing speed are definitely different.

EDIT: Please check my bulk thread at my sig below. smile.gif
