Was told its a form that contains the information on the owner, car details, ownership details etc etc - and has to be keyed into the JPJ records for printout before can register

Izputra - I suspect that the branch may have grouped their submissions since they have runners - so thats why it takes time

my SA said the forms submitted and waiting for pengarah to verify before proceeding to register and get the road tax out - after that have to wait for runner to send to HQ to have the DO issued before we can go to collect the car at Rawang - so ma fan la!

No trying to be sexist - are the lady SAs more knowledgeable and also professional compared to the gentleman SAs? quite interesting to see how they stack in terms of being fast in car delivery, attention to customers complaints etc

toyotarave checking in after a long day.....here goes. Left SS17 branch at 2pm with three SAs to pick up 3 fortes - cannot put numbers here ok - mine is the only Bright Silver while the other 2 were White. Had to go to HQ to pick up some documents there (imagine the jam during the rain) and spent around 30 mins there ogling at the Fs on ground floor. Sped over to Rawang but had to take the Selayang trunk road because cannot go over to the NSE since mega jam. Arrived at Stockyard and saw several lines of just arrived Fortes on the road. Went in and waited for the other 2 SAs to check the cars and they drove off at 5pm. My car came and I used the checklist at the 1st page of this forum - pretty good. Then checked against their checklist so even better. SA was very pro explaining the different features and then we were off to the Shell station to put full tank petrol and adjusted the tyre pressure. From there we drove (I drove mine while he drove someone else's) back to SS17 reached back 645pm - after that I drove over to my in laws place where everyone was jumping over into the car for test drive (three rounds of relatives, imagine). After all the hulaballoo, settled for dinner and now I am back home. All I can say is I booked on 12 Mar, got the loan agt signed 16 Mar, car allocated 19 March and waited for the JP process for a week to clear with the road tax and registration issued 30 Mar last night. Thumbs up to my SA and his branch manager!!!

No wor - sorry - I guess the process is painfully slow - btw I snapped some photos of ppl preparing to install the white bodykit presumably for the EX models with some black rubbery liner at the edges, - the carton packaging states its from Mach Accessories (S) Pte Ltd - maybe can get direct from them -

For other Fortezens about to receive their car - please do not I repeat do not ask your SA to use the single row number plate ( like the boot version) for your front - it looks terribly ut of balance even with 4 number and four alphabets - because there is like a 3 inch open space at left and right - I did mine but my SA managed to ask the stockyard guy to do a new square one for me....phew, for the photo of the ppl preparing the bodykit maybe izputra here can take some better shots, mine came out blurry.

Cannot miss it - when you enter the stockyard you will see an office on left and a glass panel in front covered with long brown carton boxes - behind it is the place they are prepping the BKs

There are some who would race the engine like no tomorrow but my SA was going only at 70-80km when he drove a customer's unit back to the showroom yesterday - I know because I was behind him all the way
