haha, dun worry, u can discuss any Nikon in any Nikon thread, not spamming
if u wan shoot wedding, better get external flash but if u prefer not to use flash, got plenty lenses for u to choose, depends on wat u nid the 2 example pic u shown can be taken using D90 kit lens d if u wan versatility, can get D90 body only(rm2500) + 18-200 VRII(rm2700) if u wan fast lens n prime lens, D90 body only(rm2500) + Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC(rm1900) + 50mm f/1.8(rm400) |

QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ Apr 11 2010, 03:05 PM) Hehe. ya, D90 kit is comes with 18-105 VR lens, body only means without that lensfor external flash..maybe dont need it much ..i think... base on your options. I choose 18-200 VRII. as for D90 "body only" at RM2500, does it give D90 without original lens? 18-200 VRII is good for everyday shooting n travel |

So now D90 body (RM2.5k) + tokina 12-24 Wide angle lens(RM1.7k) = RM4.2k Budget 5.5k Now i need prime lens for normal pic(sorry if im wrong) Budget for this lens RM1.3k |

thats when using pop up flash during indoor shots, the hood will create shadow as the pop up flash arent high enuf
hoods r suppose to help during outdoor shots when there's strong sunlight, so it is better to use outdoor This post has been edited by General_Nic: Apr 14 2010, 10:17 AM |

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Apr 14 2010, 10:37 AM) better bring it along just incase u need it than needing it when u dont have it if indoors, to block out glares frm spotlights? especially stages with multiple spotlights(same concept with keeping a condom in your wallet) wearing the hood in reverse mode also affect the pop flash meh? i was thinking, what a hood doing in a place where we need flash? I only use the hood at outdoors shoot. Seeing some photog put on their big long hoods at 10 pm at night , Not sure if they just wanna show off by making their lens longer or theres any other use for it. n the hoods r designed so it wont affect pics QUOTE(hackerzx @ Apr 14 2010, 10:46 AM) of cos, captain obvious, lol QUOTE(ugly_cruzx @ Apr 14 2010, 11:06 AM) the usual YL n DigitalsMania at Pudu Plaza J-One at Amcorp Mall Boeing ar Sg Wang Plaza Foto Selangor at Pertama Complex Any Fotokem n Shangri-La will do too advise, try to avoid Tarita n ask for Nikon Malaysia warranty when buying QUOTE(pinchboyz @ Apr 14 2010, 12:57 PM) put in reverse mode, easier ma... but for some lens the hood is in the way when put reverse u can use it whenever needed.... no need find high and low for hood... QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Apr 14 2010, 03:51 PM) I don't see the need for D90 replacement as for now. For 51AF points and better metering i think you can get the D300S. If D90 replacement comes out where will D300S stand? Won't it contradict D300S itself if D90 replacement is too good? Nikon cams seriously nid some MP upgrade, 14 or 15Mp will doUnless D90 replacement is a 16MP or higher DX format (which resembles 550D's purpose) but i don't see any sense in this... D90 should continue its legend! n D90 replacement model shud give better live view AF! QUOTE(zio @ Apr 14 2010, 03:57 PM) maybe surprise us with new sensor size, between FF n APS-C size1.7 or 1.8 crop maybe QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Apr 14 2010, 04:02 PM) I used to have a Di466 with my nikon, it worked well enough but since it only swivels up and down but doesn't rotate left n right, got rid of it. How is the Di866 performing, would it be a good upgrade from a SB600? Any one used it with CLS/ strobing? i only heard problm when strobing with Di866, sometimes cant flash or delayed flashif use as stand alone flash attached to cam, IMO is very good QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ Apr 14 2010, 05:36 PM) Owh forget to inform u, J-One at Amcorp Mall is closed for 2 weeks for renovationsbut im newbie i think i dont have to buy that lens.
