Correct, D90's default JPEG compression rate is like 80 only instead of doing 100. So I usually shoot RAW, then convert to JPEG. It looks better that way for me

Not everyone can do that, I can shoot at 1/10 at even 85mm, but not consistent ~_~. Its like out of a few shots only 1 or 2 is good.

I'm looking at the options with image stabilizer, so only Tamron and Sigma in picture. Nikkor still doesn't have VR >(.

I didn't exactly experienced HSM yet, since I only played a little with my friend's Sigmalux 50mm f/1.4 + 5dmk2 sometime ago. Can't recall how was the AF :S. Fast? Silent? How does it fare compared to the SWM?

I saw D90 + 18-105mm at RM3299 during PC Fair, I think it gives 4gb card + bag.. not too sure.

Why not? On the lens element I rarely get finger prints since my UV filter is always there.
But I've cleaned for my friend's fish eye before and it works fine. |

No la, not RM100+ item. Depending where you get it, but max you should pay is RM35, nothing more than that. Get the original Lenspen.

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Apr 21 2010, 08:52 PM) Hey you guys mentioned about lenspen few pages ago... When i got my d90 they gave me free cleaning kit, octopus one... the lenspen included is not original lenspen, maybe is octopus brand. can still use it? I think it is best to use blower to blow first, then use the brush for the really stubborn one before cleaning with the tip. |
