Is +31 the max vol? Can it go any higher without adjusting vol on TV or HT system?

QUOTE(neb @ Sep 29 2010, 04:35 PM) no display at all? can you get into player's menu page? what is your HDTV brand? No problem getting into menu page.try a different HDMI cable or change player's mode such as 720p Nothing to do with HDTV & HDMI cable as I can playback other mkv 720p file without any problem. Also I am getting sound and subtitle. Have tried 720p video mode but no joy. TQ |

QUOTE(azbro @ Sep 29 2010, 04:54 PM) helob...try to remux it and assembly it back...use this software...very easy..takes less than 10min for 720p. remuxing did the trick using haali. There are many Remux software, but try this first http://haali.su/mkv/ Sometimes remuxing is like a miracle I understand that this has to do with mkv header compression. Apparently, HDPro does not support mkv compressed header. So have to uncompress the header to solver the "no pic" problem. Tks azbro for your advise. |

QUOTE(azbro @ Sep 30 2010, 05:35 PM) High reframe rates not easy to cure...especially like Transformer 1. Tks for the tips. You can try to remux with Haali or....the ever popular MKVmergegui http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVtoolnix Actually, Remux is the main features....the software itself sometimes have features to smoothen the movie. What about RipBot264? Have you used this prog before to fix/reduce reframe rate? TQ |

QUOTE(calvin_ng @ Oct 1 2010, 11:23 AM) Yeap my Meda Player (Xtreamer Pro) got this problem too it is caused by Compression Header on the movie layer, yesterday they have updated the software to accept compression header and decode it can watch now... perhaps you can wait for next firmware update... yangxi,Pls requested for the Compression Header feature for HDPro in the next firmware update. TQ Added on October 1, 2010, 4:26 pm QUOTE(azbro @ Oct 1 2010, 09:32 AM) I think its just a user friendly window that still uses Haali for MKV and MKVmergeGUI to convert audio. How to check reframe rates before downloading the mkv file? But advantage is its user friendly and remux .mov to. For MKV files only, better you stick to Haali and MKVmergeGUI. But next time do check the reframe rates before downloading...anything more than 5 your media player is going to have hardtime playing it without pixellation. I dunno why some encoder are crazy enough to encode more than 5 reframe rate. Probably they think the quality will be good, but playability will suffer. Tried both Haali & MKVmergeGUI with default settings but NO joy. Still encountered pixellation. How to config Haali or MKVmergeGUI to change/reduce the reFrame number? QUOTE(azbro @ Oct 1 2010, 10:36 PM) That one is simple... azbro,Example: Using Subtitle Edit Program->Import Sub from MKV file (takes abt 10min to extract it)->Edit it->Save as .srt (file name must be the same as movie file and same folder) To correct the Italic Sub during editing, check the "Fix Invalid Italic Tags" There are also many other options to correct the Sub...check the related box If your player can select either one, the its OK to select the external SRT. If cannot, remux the movie, take out the Subtitle inside it, then use the newly created one just now. You can either use the newly created srt as it is, or remux back to the movie. You guys need to do some experiment "Using Subtitle Edit Program->Import Sub from MKV file" Which program do you recommend? TQ |
